Hawaiian Baby Woodrose and LSA extraction

i just ordered 200 HBWR seeds and a have a couple questions

whats a noraml oral dose of just the seeds

i have an extraction method that im looking at using that i got from here.

"1)Grind up 150 grams of Morning Glory seeds or baby Hawaiian wood rose seeds.
2) In 130 cc. of petroleum ether, soak the seeds for two days.
3) Filter the solution through a tight screen.
4) Throw away the liquid, and allow the seed mush to dry.
5) For two days allow the mush to soak in 110 cc. of wood alcohol.(If you cant find wood alcohol,use Everclear)
6) Filter the solution again, saving the liquid and labeling it "1."
7) Resoak the mush in 110 cc. of wood alcohol for two days.
8) Filter and throw away the mush.
9) Add the liquid from the second soak to the solution labeled "1."
10) Pour the liquid into a cookie tray and allow it to evaporate.
11) When all of the liquid has evaporated, a yellow gum remains. This should be scraped up and put into capsules.
30 grams of Morning Glory seeds = 1 trip
15 Hawaiian wood rose seeds = 1 trip"


and i just wanted to know if anyone has tried this

i have heard many different dosages for HBWR seeds anywhere from 6 to 25 so i just want a straight answer if at all possible...it probably won't be though

im really getting into making extracts and tinctures so im wondering if a HBWR tincture can be made...i would assume it would just be the reciepie above minus the zippo fluid part and minus the drying to yellow gum...

any experiences lately?

I dunno man, I would try around 8 seeds(HBWR) the first time? I do have a question for you, since I'm planning to do the same thing. Do you maybe know if I can use H2O instead of alcohol for a polar solvent?


Using the everclear is a bit more expensive, but more save as well. If you use the wood alcohol you should be damn sure it's all evaporated before consuming.. It will kill you or somethin'

actually methanol (wood alcohol) gets you drunk and then makes you blind....kinda sucky

I was slightly exaggerating, but If you wanttokill yourself.. just drink enough I wouldn't risk getting blind for just one trip, though.

I would just like to say thati realy wouldn't recommend anyone trys to follow those 11 steps with-out shown above with-out having a more in depth look at the extraction of LSA. You can get a more detailed look at the LSA extraction method here

Also, I can't be sure, but there are a number of sources that claim the extraction ofLSA is consideredillegal and thatLSA is only legal in it's natural, although mostly ineffective form (HBW & MG Seeds).


LSA is considered a drug and it's effects are comparable to LSD, but it's 100% less potent than LSD, which means the only way to have a proper trip with this drug is to either extract it, or to find a more potent natural form. The most potent natural form of LSA as far as I know is Hawiian brand ofHBW Seeds.

if you have a slow cooker if your reallycareful then you can place your yellow gum extract in the slow cooker on lowest heat, and then the extra solvents will be evaporated.leaving you with a slovent free extract,only problem is if heat is going to affect the potency of your lsa alkaloids...better than consumingpoisons wood solvents...

In repsonse to the question on getting HBWR seeds from Home Depot, no, i seriously doubt you can. Theyare sold in shops aroundparts of Hawaii, India and Ghana, but if your not from these areas it's a bit harder to get hold of them. You may be able to get them from a large garden centre, if your lucky, but they will most likley be under a different name and they will be sprayed with poisions to prevent human consumption, so DON'T get them from garden centres.


The main place youwill be able tofind the seeds is in Head Shops and Herb Shops etc. To be honest, the safest thing to do, is to grow them your self,so your gauranteedtheyhaven't been sprayed with any pesticides or poisons. HBWR's can come from many different origins, make sure the one's youget ARE from Hawaii, as this is the only breed of HBWR seeds that seems to contain a reasonable amount of LSA. All other types of HBWR seem to be extremly in-effective and contain veryfew or no LSA Alkaloids.
