lol....cannabis has done nothing to help Toonces' ADD..in fact she thinks it's made it worse..maybe that's a result of chronic smoking, though.

yeah if swiy does enough to feel it it makes it worse. one little hit usually does him good before a test or reading a book

Perhaps thats why SWIM has hard time finishing her bowlpack/blunt/bongpack while surfing the net or making 3D art...she always seems to get sidetracked reading wikipedia for hours or drawing, and forgets about the smoking she was doing..so perhaps if SWIM uses small amounts like hh339 suggested it does have a positive effect on ADD

That's not very surprising news. Many hyperactive people use cannabis as self medication or simply because they enjoy the calming effects.

SWIM finds that cannabis assists in the ability to focus on one thing. Without it, SWIM can multitask very well (the more tasks at the same time the better), but cannot concentrate on any one thing for too long. The former fits well with SWIM's work environment. However, SWIM has done poorly on every exam SWIM has ever taken not stoned, and SWIM has done very well on some very difficult and important exams after smoking a joint or a couple of bowls. SWIM once even got stoned during a break in between a very long exam and did really well. SWIM also has trouble studying when not stoned since SWIM's mind wanders and SWIM cannot sit still for more than a few minutes. Note SWIM has never been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, but SWIM's probably got a touch of one of 'em.
