Permanent damages
Hello
A friend of mine has some questions about LSD: he wants to know if it's possible to get permanent physical damages from it (ie: if it fries your brain) He also knows that most of other drugs have such effects, and that other drugs (ie: cocaine) get mixed with other substances, cheaper but more dangerous than the drug itself. So, is it easy to find a hit of LSD mixed with other dangerous substances? Thanks |

Re: Permanent damages
A simple forum search would have found most of these answers, but I'll answer them here anyway.
LSD doesn't "fry" your brain. In fact, it's remarkably non-toxic, non-addictive, and safe. That doesn't mean it's a completely safe drug to use. It's effects on the mind can be difficult for some users and cause them to do dangerous things. For someone unexperienced, it's good to have a sober or experienced person around in case things become difficult. Also, LSD can trigger latent mental disorders in people who have a strong family history of early onset mental illness or schizophrenia, but this is extremely rare. Due to the nature of an acid hit, it would be extremely difficult to mix other substances in it, or at least in effective amounts. LSD, being one of the most potent drugs that exists (active in the microgram ranges), can be put onto a tiny square of paper, a quarter of an inch square. It would be difficult to adulterate that. You could certainly get a hit that does little to you, but you're unlikely to get other drugs. Still, in the age of scammers and research chemicals, there are other drugs being sold as LSD. These are namely the DOx psychedelic substituted amphetamines, because they are also active in small amounts. These are also very psychedelic chemicals and will have many similarities to the LSD experience, but the biggest difference is that they have much longer effects, one could be tripping for 12 - 24 hours. |

Re: Permanent damages
Some reading through the forums will address your question. This will also teach you more than you asked. Highly suggested.
