Mescaline Microdots: Purple double-barrelled pills

Mescaline.Back in the mid 80's we used to do it a couple times a
week.It was about the size and shape of a 1/8 inch long piece of
spagetti.Three hits would give a strong body high and intense visuals.

Various pundits on the the web have stated that it couldn't be
mescaline to be active in such small amounts and someone from another
sight went so far as to say it was horse tranq,must mean ketamine,mixed
with speed,dosen't seem likley.

It was a diffrent trip than the blotter acid around at the time
though so does anyone have an opinion on what this drug may have been?

id say it wasnt mescaline just based on the size. mescaline usually isnt too cheap, and id say a good 300mgs is for a good trip

As stated before, it would have to be something that could be active in
a dose of that size. Almost always LSD (different "batches" of
LSD can subjectively feel quite different from one another, even to
seasoned psychonauts), but also possibly ALD-52 (and LSD analogue), DOM
or DOB or even DOI (2,5-dimethoxy amphetamines substituted at the
4-position), or possibly even PCP. 2C-B (orally active at
~18-30mgs.) was not invented until I believe 1983 by Dr. Shulgin, and
didn't see any black market distribution until quite a bit later, like
the early-to-mid 1990s.

A good way to determine if you in fact have mescaline is 1) the
size of the dose, an active level of mescaline HCl is around 250mgs. I
believe and a bit more for mescaline sulphate), and 2) the duration of
onset, as mescaline always takes a good 2 to 2.5 hours to develop
toward a peak effect, and occasionally one doesn't experience any
subjective changes in perception until over T+90 minutes after
ingestion.

Anyone selling you a microdot claiming it is mescaline is simply
lieing. Besides, its very hard (at least where I am) to find mesc
'on the street'. The best I could find were cacti being sold

SWIM remembers purple and pink doublebarrels, and maybe evn some green colored ones, too, '86, '87, which was represented as mesc. Definitely wasn't LSD, that's for sure. Ah, SWIM says whatever it actually was, SWIM wish he could know for sure because whatever it was, was so magical and wondrous. SWIM says it was always very erotic, telepathic, "shared" hallucinations, intense visuals, could make written english look like some srtange alien language; 12-14+hrs on a "heavy dose" (4 double barrels on no tolerance). Nothing like some subtle un-noticed time dilation, along with impatience, to sucker SWIY into popping another 2 when SWIY should have waited.. ;^>

Mescaline like that (microdots) are just weak acid in swims opinion.

Then SWIY has not experienced good microdots, simply. There is nothing specific about LSD being in pill form which makes it weak.

The only time SWIM has had a microdot, it was advertised as being mescaline (this seems to have been rather common in the 80's) and was QUITE strong, perhaps the strongest single dose of LSD SWIM has ever had.

There was a tractor-trailer full of little purple microdots around some years ago. They contained 1mg of DOB each. They came from the mob (Mafia). Guess was some Mafia Don's kid took up chemistry and made a ton of it.

There was so much of it, and it was so cheap, that it wouldn't surprise me to find it still going around.

On another note: Bongo used to get these purple barrels that looked like the lead in a pencil - long, thin cylinder. This was LSD-25. These were supposed to be cut carefully into microdots. It was very clean and powerful - about 100mcg per millimetre of length.

Of course, all these purple dots were refered to as mescaline. Seems the disinformation had spread to such a degree that everyone (except Bongo) used mescaline as the name for anything purple.

swim remembers purple and light green barrels the size of medium spaghetti. onset was at the 45 min mark with an energetic body rush, colorful synthetic visuals, and they induced intense laughter. comedown was graceful. no ill effects, hangover, or naausea. Swim does not think this was lsd. trails and oev's were jittery(possibly because the stimulant effect it induced caused eye jitters) ..lsd is more lucid and fluent more organic. swim would love to know what compound was injected into these lil microdots. swim would say for certain it was not lsd, and not real mescaline...swims guess is that it is some wonderfully fun tryptamine!!

Not a tryptamine in that size/form. The size alone precludes this possibility. SWIM was playing with a DOx. Which one remains in the domain of sheer speculation.
