Diphenhydramine Not Working/No Effects

Swim took 200mg at 10:30. At 11:30 he still felt nothing, so Swim took another 100mg. At 12:30 there was still nothing, so he took another 50mg.

So 350mg, and Swim doesn't even feel tired. Did Swim do something wrong...should he of taken the whole dose at once instead? Is it possible he is 'immune' to this drug? Swim was really looking forward to this night, but it seems to be a dud.

Any ideas?
