First time dosage for AMT + 5-MeO-DiPT

Only SWIM can determine how much to take but 40mg of AMT by itself sounds like a good dose and 20mg of 5-meo-dipt should be sufficient. SWIM would not recommending mixing those for the first time. Better take them separately.

My pet cats first experience with 5meodipt, was 9mg, this was a good starting dose for my pet cat....

Several people have died from each of these compounds individually. One can only assume that combining them would be very risky. Remember also that AMT is an MAOI. I strongly suggest rethinking this idea.

On reading your post again, it seems like you are asking about starting doses for each drug separately, in which case obviously my above comments are not applicable.

SWIM, for the record, combined these a few times with no problems. Not that SWIM encourages this - they are better on their own and each unique in activity. 40 mg is a solid AMT dose, but if SWIY has only one taste, might as well get the full effects. SWIM likes AMT best at the 10-20 mg range. At that level it is social, stimulating and empathogenic, but not very hallucinatory. SWIM feels that tripping on AMT is much less interesting than most other tryptamines and carries a higher body load. SWIM has also combined with many other things, and once tried oral DMT with AMT, and so far SWIM has not found any MAOI activity in SWIM's lab monkeys. However, SWIM does not dose high, and maybe the MAOI effects maniest at a higher dose?
5meoDIPT is best at about 7-10 mgs.

From your report it sounds as if the MAOI activity in single doses is possibly or probably insignificant, but I'm sure I remember reading mention of this WRT both AMT and AET.

Very sketchy indeed. SWIM knows about that sweating and trembling stuff which is why SWIM keeps it under 20 mg. Could be there was some preexisting factor ?
SWIM tested the theory again with 2 beers 4 hrs after 17mg which did what two beers always does for SWIM. Then SWIM really pushed it with 5mg MDPV. Nothing special there either (SWIM has combined MDPV with AMT now twice with pleasant results). SWIM is far more concerned about MAOI activity with 2ct2 and 2ct7, but thinks that some may have misinterpreted the side effects and potency of AMT as an MAOI reaction.
5meoAMT feels like an MAOI reaction all by itself which could be part of the source of this so far rumor...
Any studies demonstrate MAO receptor blocking?

I suppose that I got that information from this post and/or others like it. Looking through more search results leads me to think that the MAOI aspect is not really a significant factor. But anyway...AMT + 5-MeO-DIPT?! Talk about a body load from hell, better stay close to the bathroom!

No refs though. SWIM will look into it. It probably has some MAOI effect at high doses, but these could be higher than most monkeys ever venture into. At least to SWIM's MAOI -discerning primate, this activity seems to be absent. Perhaps Nag could offer a citation?

A friend of mine got terrible cramps all over his body with any dose from 6mg orally to 20mg freebase smoked of 5-meo-Dipt. He said it was horrible and lasted for two hours.
None of my other friends have had this experience.

if anyone did their research proper you would find there is a pretty old report on erowid of these two drugs in combination with eachother and all the people who had done it almost died and needed emergency medical care for respiratory distress. funny thing... it seems to be the only report archived of the combo. cant imagine why. i wont bother to link it right now. maybe later... any 15 year old with a mind to look it up will have no problem doing so.
