San Pedro Powder in the UK

Does anyone know where SWIM can get hold of some San Pedro powder in the UK? SWIM needs it for the weekend.

It would be illegal to buy powder but probably not dried cuttings. Well-known legal highs sites sell them and SWIY could grind them down into powder.

Is it really illegal to sell powder? I've just found a site in the UK that sells it... is it a bad idea to buy from them?

I didn't think it was illegal to buy powder, as long as one wasn't planning on eating it.

I could be wrong but would have thought that would constitute preparation and hence illegality.

Nah its legal im sure as long as its not intended to be eaten, there was a court case involving san pedro and the judge let a guy go because the uk laws on alot of plants do not clearly state what is legal and whats not.

A 2007 court case in the U.K. resulted in a decision that left dried mescaline-containing cacti legal to sell and possess. The case (see Regina v. Saul Sette) was thrown out by the judge on the grounds that the law did not clearly make dried chips or powder illegal. This certainly indicates that fresh growing cacti are also not controlled at this time. Note that peyote is also not controlled in the United Kingdom. (Last Updated June 2007)

if u were not buying san pedro to eat it why do u sy u obtained it ... the police are doin me as they caught me with san pedro and they said its has mescaline in it which is class A but is it not sold legaly ? whats the legal issue with the buyin of san pedro ?

Its legal in the UK to buy/sell/posses aslong as its not for consumption.

If the police stoped you then technically you are aloud to own it and unless they can prove its for you consuption. This can be done by checking internet history or if you own books on how to prepare it then that can be used as evidence as far as swim is aware.

I don't think intending to use it for consumption makes a jot of difference, its legal anyway. The case cited was for chips of cactus, but if you can have a legal bag of chips there is bound to be powder at the bottom, so any rational legal discourse would not seek to make a legal product naturally produce a class A substance at the bottom of the bag.
