So I noticed that the current salvia article in the D-F information sections needed some help..

So I decided to write up an article according to the guidelines Alfa described in this thread: http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21475

Basically the result was this:

I tried with my zero-coding experience in html to recreate the page with info I added. Now since I figure that everyone would be reading the salvia information, then the community should have a chance to edit it.

I feel there are a lot of things that need work on it (some too long? some too short?), but I have given it the extent of my knowledge. Anymore salvia related ideas that are out there I would love to add in. So please post away!

Also, the reason I threw this in the Some for All forum is because as one can tell, there are also some html issues that I think need to be fixed, so even if someone doesn't care much for salvia, if you have any html experience that'd be great (some spacing issues I think, and I couldn't get bulletins working for firefox...works in IE...weird)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it means rewording a lot (i'm not always the greatest with words). Thanks.

Hmmm, I think I just realized what Alfa meant by subpages. Is each subpage supposed to have like it's own actual page with a link to it? If that doesn't make sense (prolly makes none)..have a look here:

On the left side there is a menu to different pages within the topic, should it be like that for all the articles of drugs?

The current salvia page needs to be replaced. See http://www.drugs-forum.com/kratom.html for an example of how the article and subpages/chapters should be handled.
I am going to change the lay out of the pages, so plain text will do. But I need enough text for each page (where possible)
Please follow this post and see if everything that's mentioned there is in this article. If you feel that this is too much work, then just work on one paragraph/subpage and finish that. And go from there. Please try to substantiate your claims.

Dangers / Health risks of salvia divinorum
What risks are there?
Is salvia addictive? You describe that it isn't. Please substantiate this. Is it anti-addictive like many psychedelics are? Do users feel any urge to re-use within a certain amount of time? I suspect that most users discontinue the use of salvia after initial trials. This would substantiate your claim that salvia is not addictive.
Is it toxic? Have people died from Salvia divinorum use? What happens if you take an overdose? Are there any long term effects of salvia use?
The guidelines described are handy, to avoid risks. And from them you can sort of derive the risks involved with using salvia and not being conscious of your actions. But it would be good to expand on that. It is vital that users are very aware of dangers, before they use a drug. This article is going to educate people that have no knowledge yet.

- Producing extracts:
A separate subpage on the creation of salvia extracts can be made, but that should cover all techniques. Simply discussing what possibilities there are and linking to the TEK's available would be sufficient. Please write an overview of what TEK's are there and the difficulties, pro's and con's of each. Ask for help if needed. Start up a thread.

Forms of Salvia divinorum
Which different forms are there? Extracts, tincture, leaf. Quality discussion is very important here. What does 5X, 20X, 100X, etc mean? What does 20:1 mean? Why doesn't 10X give a different effect than 100X.
Pro's and con's of the different forms.
Besides Salvia divinorum, are there other psychoactive Salvia's?

History of salvia divinorum
Even though information is limited, a salvia history page is needed.

Salvia is illegal in Belgium. Did you check the websites mentioned in the instruction post?

Yeah the first time I looked at the kratom one I didn't see the subpage links on the left (Doh!)...I'll try my best to make it as detailed as the kratom one.

Ok, here's the updated version which follows the patterns stated above and matches closely in design with the kratom article. Nine full pages, the subpages are separated by bar things.

The only thing missing is a section on growing, that is a subject swim is personally not familiar with (because he's never done it) but will do as much research as possible and hear from people with experience before adding that part in.
