Will panic attacks continue after stopping use?

SWIM has never been a frequent amphetamine user. The other night SWIM took a very large dose. SWIM cannot remember how much exactly but it was definitely too much for someone who does not use it very much.

Anyways SWIM is currently on the third day of a comedown and doing everything to ease it off (multivitamin tablets, relaxing, water, food, rest etc) but he has been getting panic attacks a few times at night before he sleeps.

SWIM has read up on them and knows how to handle them but is wondering will they stop once the amphetamine has completely cleared his system?

Or has it triggered something in SWIM's body which will mean these attacks will continue even after the comedown?

SWIM would like to add there are no history of panic attacks, anxiety disorders, paranoia etc in his family.

SWIM is also quitting speed permanently and stickng to alcohol after taking too much the other night and realising the down is not worth the up for him.

Swim measured his blood pressure as his parents owned a monitor. Not surprisingly there was an increase. Because swim had taken so much of the drug the other day, he was wondering is this increase also temporary or will it stay with him after the comedown?

Swim would like to add his blood pressure it usually normal.

The reason why he is concerned is because swim likes to stay fit and healthy.

If SWIY has always had high blood pressure than it won't go away simply from stopping amphetamine usage. If the high blood pressure was the result of amphetamines than yes, over time, if SWIY stays clean then his blood pressure will drop. Either way, if you simply have high blood pressure than amphetamines aren't going to be anything except a further contribution to that.
