Trying Peyote for first time.

Hey SWIM just ordered 2 of these little gems from an online store. SWIM noticed in the forums that ones under 3cm are too small to really be worth taking, luckly i bought ones 4-4.5cm.

They should look roughly like this when swim get them.

It looks like as if they are starting to mature and grow flowers, so does anyone know of somone who could tell if they are worth cutting to be ate ? Also would 1 be enough for SWIM to have a nice trip or would both have to be eaten ?

It will probably not give you anything else than a low dosage introductory trip.
My recommendation is to grow these just for their beauty and try to get hold of some San Pedros instead.

Both Peyote and other mescaline containing species such as San Pedros can very successfully be crafted onto different cacti such as Pereskiopsis which will give a dramatic increase in growth rate. Very fun too.

i agree w/syntelman...grow them for decoration...there are plenty of non endangered fast growing cacti that contain mescaline.

on another note, since your cacti is putting up flowers, you can pollinate them with a paintbrush (which will give you seeds). they can be self-pollinated or cross-pollinated since you have two....cross pollination provides the most seeds.

Thanks, My Anteater thinks it'll let them grow a bit then wait till there older before he trys them out. There from an online garden store grown from there own seeds anyway so its keeping the wild ones alive

Anteater got some woodrose seeds in the mail also so he'll give them a bash then try get his hands on some san pedro next week
