Help Please - Sick

Last night, swim took 30mg oxy orally, snort 10.THen swim, took half a vicodin orally, then snorted half.Swim felt good for about 1hr then begin to vomit, decided to try and sleep.Swim slept, when he woke up.. just felt as though he had a hang over, but when swim at anything, he is throwing it up. Whenever swim is out of a laying position for more than a few minutes, he becomes naseuated.Swim cannot hold anything down, and is beginging to feel weak.Medical attention is a last resort for swim..Is there something that swim can do, anyone know why swim feels this way?Help please, thanks.

my friend try some dramamine or bonnine they are anti-emetics (anti nausea) pills swim prefers bonnine about 45 minutes before planned consumption. Sorry i forget the exact chemical name of the two compounds but they are OTC drugs that can be bought pretty much anywhere. Ginger also works wonders try some ginger ale for break through nausea. Hope this helps

If SWIY feels very bad the next day, like SWIY describes, SWIY just has a very bad opiate hangover. It's common with high doses, SWIM had it too.
Antihistamines(benadryl, dramamine) may be helpful against the nausea, though anti-emetics would be much better, but they are prescription only.

SWIM seriously hopes that SWIY does not snort tablet any more.

Swim also has had similar symptoms sometimes after a nice dose of any opiate ( today for example ).

For others reading this, in case of overdose don't hesitate to go to the ER or at least contact poison control, where everything can remain confidential.

I'm sure you're over it now, but in the future this is what I use:

Treatment:
Meclizine ( referred to as [Rx is] Antivert, Dramamine II, Bonnine ) which is available OTC (25mg str, RX as 12.5, 25, & 50 mg ) is a antihistamine, also considered a antiemetic.

I personally recommend taking it as follows:

Take 1 tablet by mouth every 3-4 hours as needed for nausea and vomiting.

Antivert is a great thing to have on hand for nausea, vomiting, & vertigo even. Helps with "dopesickness" too! If Promethazine is not available ( which is RX only ), Meclizine is the next best thing.

Another fantastic thing to have on hand for the nausea is Emetrol, which is another OTC amtiemetic.

You might also consider assuming the "recovery position" versus just laying down.

Emetrol & Meclizine are both available OTC in the US.
