post your fondest memory of a birthday celebration, it doesnt have to be yours , it could be one that was put on for a friend.

On SWIM's 20th birthday, he spent his first night ever in New York City with a hot girlfriend, an old friend whom he hadn't seen in ages and a bag of excellent powdered molly. For under 20 dollars (they only walked and road the subway), SWIM went to all 4 corners of the city. It took my breath away when SWIM told me about how he peaked on a grotesquely large body load of MDMA at 1 am, standing in the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge overlooking the water and the skyline. Beautiful.

When SWIM finally returned to his friend's apartment at 10 am, he discovered that a dozen blisters had inexplicably formed on the bottoms of his feet and that his once prestine socks were soaked in blood. I can only imagine how many miles SWIM and his friends must have walked that night.

SWIM doesn't celebrate his birthdays anymore. He doesn't enjoy the self-centered nature of the event because having attention lavished upon him generally isn't his shtick.

He does fondly remember one of his brothers' birthday parties when he was younger though. Back in those days, SWIM's neighbour used to keep bees and they would tend to gather in huge swarms every summer. During this birthday party hundreds of bees attacked every guest in sight. Nearly everyone got stung but for SWIM. Ha-har!

SWIM's best memory from his own birthday experiences is either his 18th birthday when he got really drunk and has no recollection of the night. His 21st birthday was also a memorable one, he smoked some California Orange bud (grown for medicinal purposes) and he went to his "surprise party" (SWIM had been informed of the party after he questioned friends about why they had to go to a certain spot). SWIM had to meet and greet family members in one of the worst conditions he has ever been from a couple of joints
