Shroom hunting Liberty caps (UK) vs. Liberty caps (Canada) Psilocybe Semilanceata

SWIM is wondering if there is a difference in the potencies of liberty caps from the UK and from Canada (preferably Newfoundland). SWIM heard that many of the caps in the UK are bigger than the ones in Canada. It makes sense that newfoundland has liberty caps as does the UK because of the climate and terrain of both places, lots of wet and lots of cold (especially here in nfld for the cold).

i've seen liberty's picked from the same field (and often from the very same patch) that look rather different to each other. but they all carry the same characteristics!

As for potency, the dog ate 15 of some small ones and tripped balls, and on another date he also ate 50+ of the same sized ones and was only just getting to the stage of the prior experience.

i have done 1s from diffrent areas in the uk when they where legal.
1s from south wales i had 2 do about 80 2 get a standard trip.
1s from glouscestershire when picking they stain blue within 20-30mins
do about 30-40 would give a complete mad as hell trip.

Even ones from roughly the same location, i.e. within half a mile or less can seem to vary quite a bit depending on the date they are picked or the ground they are growing in. Trying to pin this down just by effects seemed to be difficult according to swims as mindset, tolerances etc. come into play.
Some days 100 or so freshly picked seemed to work for a mild experience and on other days twice as much gave the same sort of experience according to swim.

Swim doesn't know if the blue colour really signified the strength either as it varies from mushroom to mushroom even if they are growing right next to each other with some marking within minutes and swim could never be sure of any connection to the potency. Not that swim would have known until he'd picked them and he wasn't going to throw them away then if they didn't mark quickly or significantly.

The police used to sometimes sit and watch swims picking them years ago for some unfathomable reason.

last 2 yrs swim has had a person looking out 4 him.
he can pick 1000s with out no trouble happy days.
