Social Science journal database

I'm doing some research on juvenile drug use (namely causes) and am having some trouble finding much information...aside from the hundreds of "warning signs for parents" type sites . What I'm looking for are more "scholarly" (read: backed by evidence) articles, studies, etc. Does anyone know of any particular papers relating to the topic, or moreso, any good databases to search at? PubMed is too med/bio focused for what I'm looking for, instead I need more social science oriented resources.

Also, not sure where to put this, so move the thread if it needs...
