The Eureka Moment Light Bulb Bong.

Hi, SWIM is planning on making a light bulb bong of the type commonly used in freebasing DMT. (Not that SWIM has any DMT, he is just doing this for educational purposes). Anyway, the thing is he is wondering what kind of tubing to use - and after some thought the best he can come up with is some homebrew/syphon tubing.

SWIM can't tell from looking at pictures of this tubing on eBay if some of this might be too thick, so he was wondering what would be the best diameter tubing to use to give a nice long uninterupted/effortless smoke and that would still fit comfortably into the screw end of a normal light bulb? SWIM has chosen some quite large 200W light bulbs, but of course the screw fitting is still a standard (UK) size.

Well SWIM decided he just wanted to get the whole thing out of the way and get everything he needed to get this project off the ground finally.

So to be on the safe side he bought some 1/4" diameter siphoning tube. He wonders if other forum members might think this is OK, or if it is too thin - as he is sure he can still change it. (At least if anyone replies by tonight).

SWIM is really counting the cost of this project right now - and all in all it has been really quite stinging.

Everything from the Pyrex dishes to act as evaporation trays, to the measuring jugs, to the scales, to the turkey baster, to the chemicals, to the 6.5 litre crock pot, to the 2KG of Mimosa Hostilis powdered wood bark, had to be bought in by him. It is probably among the most expensive thing of this nature he has done - so it is certainly not something for the faint of heart or the bereft of cash. Total project costs are probably somewhere in the region of the £350+ mark.

SWIM will also probably end up with a lot of spice that he doesn't want and can't use - but he was enticed by a deal offering xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Anyhoo, maybe he will organise a mad 'spiritual' break away somewhere in a particularly remote location with some of his friends. He is sure that he might be able to dispose of some of his spice then.
