Upping Dose for a Second Mushroom Trip?
SWIM is preparing to have his second mushroom trip. The first time he did about 1.7g and had a great trip, but he didn't have sensations as intense as some that his friends described to him. This time SWIM is considering 4g. Several of his friends say that 3.5g is a great dosage, so he figures the extra .5g can't hurt. SWIM smokes a lot of weed, drinks occasionally, and has done cocaine, so he's no newbie to drugs. However he's still a little wary about doing this much at once. Basically, is 4g okay for a second trip?

SWIM weighs about 190-200 lbs, if that helps. He's not sure if weight has an effect on the intensity of the trip.

my buddie had only used 1 gram at a time on 2 occasions then he started growing his own first thing he did was eat 17 grams.he was fine but remember each person is different and this guy was no newbie to psychedelics.hes found the perfect dose to be about 8-10 grams.but thats him and most people dont need/want that much.id say 4 grams would be a good dose for swiy.

Would it be bad to eat it all at once? SWIM has heard that it's better to take a little at a time and eat the rest as the trip progresses. If so, how much should he eat at first?

Hmm, if SWIY is uncomfortable with taking the entire dose at once, then maybe SWIY should consider lowering the dose. Is he sure he wants an experience more than 2x as intense as his first? If so, then go ahead, but be careful and make sure to prepare adequately beforehand.

He's not uncomfortable about it, he's actually very excited about he. He just wants to make sure it's safe before he goes through with it.

100%physically safe.its mental safeness is up to you to decide.but mushrooms are considered one of the easier psychs to use i believe.
