Purging on Syrian Rue

SWIM took 6 grams of syrian rue with other people all on the same dosage.

every1 was fine except SWIM spent most of his trip purging.
everytime he moved he would get extremely sick so he had to stay perfectly still. When he purged, as he was doing all nite, his stomach hurt horribly.
Is this normal because i heard the purging is not that bad and usualy people only throw purge for a few minutes not the whole trip.
I am wondering if not following the diatary restrictions can cause something like this to happen. Or was it food poisoning or something else.
Also does Ayahusca, just the vine have different effects due to other alkoloids syrian rue doesnt have, even tho they both share harmine. I heard Caapi is much easier on the body is this true.
