Harvesting day has pretty much arrived for SWIM however due to a complicated series of misunderstandings which SWIM will not bore you with, he finds himself away from home & is not sure when he will get back !!!
Needless to say he is most frustrated especially as this is the first time he has grown and harvested poppies and wants everything to go well.
Bottom line how long can SWIM leave harvesting ?
He has read that the alkaloids in the seed pod wall start to break down or dissipate
pretty much straight away after they are ready for harvesting ?
Is this true ? And how long does he have ?
Any advice would be gratefully accepted
