First few hits of salvia Divinorum ...always the same?

I am new to sally d, i recently purchased my first bag of 10x and had a hit of 20x. (both out of a bong) each time i felt waves of intense tingling sensation and i became very sweaty and uncomfortable. i was hoping to get less of a physical trip and more of a mental or hallucinogenic one. is this simply my personal reaction to salvinorin A, or is it maybe just the source? is there any way i may be able to have more of a head trip?

Well, I can't speak for you, but SWIY (Someone Who Isn't You) should know that salvia almost always produces some sort of bodyload and isn't exactly the right thing for a "head trip" as you put it. On smaller doses, the physical side effects are not very noticable and the experience itself seems a lot less intense but still remains interesting.

SWIM gets the physical parts too, to make it more mental, SWIY can do one of 2 things..

1. Get in a more meditative state (plenty of ways to do that)
2. Higher dose (this is kinda the brute force method, get ur mind somewhere so far away that SWIY's body is the last of SWIY's thoughts), SWIM doesn't recommend this unless it's a last resort.

Also, SWIM recommends using a butane torch lighter (the ones that resemble a mini blowtorch) because Salvinorin A & B require extreemly high temps to vaporize. A normal Bic lighter just isn't going to cut it.

If swiy wants a more hallucinogenic trip, then he should do it by himself and in quite a dark room with almost no light at all.

hmmm, my hamster has yet yo try it yet. but would listening to music help in any way? i would think so, it gets his mind off things.
