Does the comedown go away for long-time users?

SWIM was wondering if anyone that's done meth for awhile notices that he/she doesn't get a comedown?

I've heard of people/my friend that has done it for about a year, and he can sleep whenever he wants.

Is that common?

No, and believe me it isn't worth finding out.....Also watch out a good 50% of tweakers will steal anything that isn't nailed down then help you look for it.

The second parts true.

Hoever the first part for SWIM isnt true in all cases atleast.

SWIM will get the greatest side effects if had to tolerance and used it, then if he had been binging.

For instance

Tweaking once with no tolerance can keep swim away from food and sleep for a good 2-3 days no problem, as he keeps doing it the time he wont eat or sleep will decrease.

However im sure a whole new list of side effects will come around once you start doing that.

SWIM wouldent know... hes had a few 4 day binges but thats about it, normaly he spaces them out.

Re: Does the comedown go away for long-time users?

swim's got 35 years of using meth....the comedown only gets worse and staying clean more difficult over time......at 15 years of use swim quit....it was a bitch for about 3 weeks, then felt as good and cocky as ever....so much so at oh, 4 or 5 months or so....thought swim could use just a bit and stop ....LMAO!!! what a mistake that was....needless to say it was another 20 years before swim quit using....3 years clean with one slip at the one year date......so really is only 2 years......and it isn't easy. still has cravings....yet not as bad or often. Each to his own, but swim would say quit while it is easier.....the sooner the better.

SWIM doesn't crash anymore, but SWIM would also like to point out that he feels as if he's coming down whenever he doesn't use meth.

Re: Does the comedown go away for long-time users?

Swim is like dswiy, uses and has long abstainances. Over the past eh 25 years swim thinks. Swim stopped for 14 years because of kids. But when kids got into the "life" it made swim go over the edge so she fights the demons again. Oh a good benzo or two will help with sleep, that is important or swiy will look like dawn of the dead. Force oneself to eat and drink or again the junky appearance. It also helps with comedowns. The cravings drive swim mad when she can't find any, once she gets past that point, she is somewhat ok. Usually about 2 weeks for physical symptioms to subside, another 2 for cravings to lessen. If one can abstain that long, they will see. However, it never goes away totally. To answer the original question, yes there is always a comedown.
