syzurp (codeine cough mixture)

SWIM was listening to DJ Screw (I left coz his shit (RIP)) and they got thinking about this syrup stuff that used a bit in texas a few years back.
They had a look (wikip) and said something about codiene and prome... (can't spell it, was an antihistamine with a sedative effect. Thing is this all looks like OTC stuff in the UK .
So if £5 (i hope prices can be used in this manner pls del if not) down the chemist gets SWIM high then it looks worth while.

Any info on the high, dosage, what to say to a chemist, buy in separate chemists?

also i read someone saying they dipped a black & mild in it how the hell can that work!!!!

Swie never tried that, but swie knows that antihistamines reduce the conversion of codeine into morphine in the liver, so who uses this type of syzurp gets less goodies (morphine)...

Ahh yes, sedatives. Promethazine in Syrup form gives a VERY sedate high, whilst tablet form gives a more "happy" high. The high lasts longer but at a less intense level on antihistamines as compared to by itself. The closed eye hallucinations SWIM find to be very pleasant. SWIM gets much more intense hallucinations on syrup promethazine at lower dosage compared to tablet form. HOWEVER, syrup gives an EXTREMELY lethargic side affect.
SWIM usualy doses at 300mg Prometh Tab: 600mg Codeine.
or 200mg Syrup Prometh : 700mg Codeine.

Also to be noted, the promethazine aleviates the , Tuss Itch. But drasticaly decreases the Body Stone

EXTREMELY lethargic side affect.
SWIM usualy doses at 300mg Prometh Tab: 600mg Codeine.
or 200mg Syrup Prometh : 700mg Codeine.

SWIYS not be taking anywhere near that much without a very hefty tolerance. 700mg could easily kill, especially when combined with a sedating antihistamine.

300mg of prometazine is also fucking insane.

Nobody should attempt any of the doses given above.

The "syzerp" in the song is Tussionex, [hydrocodone], and SWIM had a full 8 oz bottle. Holy s$%@ that stuff is strong. Codiene has no affect on SWIM whatsoever anymore. Cough syrup with codine was SWIMs first encounter with opiates when he was 10 yrs old. SWIM will never forget blaming the dog for destroying the bottle and spilling the rest of the syrup. which SWIM drank in one night and gave the empty bottle to the dog and poured some regular otc cough syrup in the kitchen where the eaten up bottle was. The beginning of a beautiful lifelong love affair with opiates. SWIM feels all fuzzy just thinking about it.

300mg Promethazine

!! Thats an extremely high dose.

Promethazine isn't your average anti-histamine - its one of the few that have anti-psychotic properties (1/10th of chlorpromazine) => which brings lots of complications to the table, EPS (parkinsons) like side effects, neuroleptic malignant syndrome etc.

MAX recommended doses: (100mg is still considered HIGH specially for elderly people)

Insomnia: depending upon severity, 25–100 mg orally at bedtime

But people have developed Neuroleptc malignant syndrome from within that dose range so 300mg just sounds dangerous - more so that other anti-histamines.

yes it is high, nd smoking causes cancer. i rarely indulge in "syzzurp", but when i do i do it good. also i am 105kgs making opiates less effective for me than say your average ndividual

700 IS called wasting your Codeine TO ANYONE not just to some because there's this factor called ceiling effect which makes any dosage above 400/450mg TOTALLY worthless since the human liver just CAN'T convert more than that amount of Codeine into Morphine at once..so you're just wasting it but if you feel like it gives u a better rush or anything feel free to keep wasting it..it's not my own point of view it's something scientifically proved.
