being high at parties

lately when i go to parties high, i just sit in a corner and watch the partie go by. it has made me completely anti-social. i hate it and it's caused me to quit smoking. i'm just stumped here, anyone have suggestions for my situation.

so what you are saying is that you have quit smoking weed because when you go to parties high you don't enjoy yourself... a simple solution would be to not smoke and go to parties, and continue smoking when there are no parties involved. if what you are saying is that you want to keep getting high at parties then you should smoke while you are there.

a similar thing happened to me, but with class A's not weed. To examples that instantly spring to mind are one involving 2c-b and one involving acid. The party atmosphere takes the focus offf your trip because people are doing things and running around and shits happening. But when you can just chill out in the countryside or in your house then the whole focus is on the trip, when theres nothing to do but just sit there and enjoy it, thats when they're best.

I love smoking and getting high at parties. The anti-social thing rarely happens me. If the envoirnment is right and I see others smoking, then I enjoy smoking a joint or two and walking around, interacting with people.

I have meet many of my friends through the line

Of course I don't encourage people to smoke or force it on them and I don't offer everybody but anybody who looks likethey need a joint then i'll offer. I always enjoy when someone offers me a joint, I will always have a conversation with them.

I am the same way but i go to clubs not party and being high at a club is just to funny that i dont do anything but sit down and geek to my self.. i know what a dork. so i stop smoking til the after parties

How old are you? I've heard that before adulthood pot usually makes you lazy and anti-social. Personally, my highs make me more alert, social and cause me to think a lot.

I vehemently encourage the notion of smoking AT said party with other
people. Smoking out by yourself and then going is never fun for me. I've
always thought of weed as a social drug. And, seriously, who doesn't like
the guy with weed at a party?

if you get stoned before the party, your mind will get into its state as if you werent at a party. then when you arrive, your mind will feel isolated. smoking at a party, on the other hand, causes your high to be more sociable, especially if many people are doing it.


as someone already said, dont get high beforehand. if you can get high at the party thats cool, if not, just drink...

If SWIM does this and goes to get rip roaring stoned he sometimes will get the spins. SWIMS solution tho this whole problem with being anti-social is. Go to a party where u know everyone, get a beer or mixed drink in your hand, drink for a few, go get blazed with some frineds come back in and mingle, dont sit down... go play beer pong, go play card games, something. SWIM loves to be blazed at parties.

I don't know about that, I love to get totally
blasted before, at, or after parties for that matter. I

I'd agree here, because when SWIM was younger he would get blazed and sometimes he got lazy but there were times at parties where he'd love it and be able to mingle... i think it comes down to everyone is different when it comes to drugs.

Being introverted is a property of the marijuana experiance. I belive weed is a terrible party drug because it makes one more reserved. I remember when I was young and myself and 5 others who came to a party would just sit around and zone out all night. And I remember going to parties compeltely sober and end up having great times.


Weed is great if your parties consist of only the few people who you are very close with, then you can get stoned all night

i agree in once sense that cannabis does lead to a person to be introverted, but i feel more outgoing bc cannabis creates thought that i easily candiscuss with other stoners orliberals. i feel very accward (sp) trying to make small talkto with conservatives (and i have many friends who are and i am not trying to divide libs and conservatives.) i mean what should we talk about... legalizing cannabis?,raising taxes so amerika's public education doesn't sux?, stopping the drug war?, po-lice brutality?, etc...


it seems that i can't think of anything to discuss with them, and usu. i consider myself andecent conversationalist.


when i'm stoned, i really don't think about suppressing gay rights, giving tax breaks to amerika's who don't need it, putting half a million cops on the streets to put more poor ppl in jail and call it a war on drugs, etc...
