Amphetamine Legal Trouble

What kind of legal trouble would SWIM be looking at if he got caught with 3 grams of pure d-amphetamine powder in his mail? This would be in Canada by the way.

research canada's drug scheduling and policies. if the court has reason to believe SWIY plans to distribute the amp, you can safely assume you're F'd.
otherwise, SWIM can only say that SWIY should expect some hefty fines and possibly some jail time at the least.

but like i said, research it. i bet SWIY could find exactly what could happen to him if he combines patience and intelligence with google.

Just even 3 grams of amphetamine powder would land SWIM in jail, when amphetamine is only a schedule II drug? Yet when SWIM gets busted with weed, a schedule I drug, he gets a slap on the wrist and maybe a fine at most? That seems a little messed up.

it is damn strange^^, how marijuana is being a slap on the wrist, even-though it's scedule precedes say...amphetamine, or meth.

i mean, i can see why, but it legaly is worng, right?

It depends , I am not sure if your saying it was sent to swiy or swiy sent it.
but first of all if something comes into my mail , I could always say that you have no idea why this is here, and if it is the other way around I would have not put my return address on it , I would have used a alias

It would be getting sent to SWIM, not from SWIM. Also, SWIM has a PO Box, if that makes a difference.

I would just keep quiet to any friends and the like and don't get worried, and like I said if push comes to shove then remember don't incriminate your self and you know don't know anything about it . period

3g is fuck all, shit. I doubt very much if 3g would land you in jail unless Canada's laws are waaaaaaaaaaaay different to the UK (which I do not think they are). In the UK, I'd be surprised if it even went to court, waste of everyone's fucking time. They would have to prove you had anyhing to do with the sending or you knew what the contents were. The only way they could do this is if it was intercepted in the mail - which won't happen if it is domestic mail (unless they have reason to suspect you are a major dealer then they may well monitor post). Best thing, if swiyou wants to do a trial run,send yourself some sherbert in the post first.

I got 'caught' by CID with 2 £20 wraps of Heroin, 3 £20 rocks of crack, loads of syringes, sitting in my car with a syringe actually in swims vein- they said (eventually), 'We can't be bothered with the whole 'drug thing', you're just a user - it'd waste our time and yours and you'll just have to go and score in 3 hours time, putting more money into dealers hands anyway'. They checked to see if I had any outstanding warrants, was wanted for anything etc, found out that I didn't said 'thanks very much, take care of yourself'. They left swim with his drugs and I drove home. Sweeeet as.

However, I was polite, I explained that I'd had a problem with gear and was trying to take things easy, was a uni student etc. They were good guys. If i'd behaved like an asshole, I would have been in a cell for sure.

english I agree totaly, cops dont really find it too fun making an arrest on someone who is polite and civil, i am sure they like the ones who fight,cuss, act a fool, it is a game to them, and they always win that one
