Trouble Sleeping After Drinking Alcohol
Is there anymore else that can't sleep after a night of drinking? i know most poeple seem to pass out and have a great night sleep, but not me. No matter how much i drink or what time i stop i know that i wouldn't be sleeping at all that night unless i take some type of sleep aid |

Thats the strangest thing I've ever heard. Try those
non-prescriptionsleeping pills you can get at a drug store if you can't sleep after drinking, they work really well. |

Yea those sleeping pills are about the only thing, that lets me sleep after a night of drinking i'm not looking to die just to pass out...i've been to many levels of drunk and still no sleep Seriously though i'll be up until i feel completely sober....not exactly a bad thing i guess but still it can be annoying at times |

sleeping pills and a lot of water. its supposed to be normal that alcohol lowers the quality if sleep (and the quantity, too). |

I had the same problem. I couldnt get to sleep for the longest time. I used to drink around once a week though. I took a long brake and now I fall asleep really easy when Im drunk. Although i just moved into a house where they are drinking daily...really fun last three days

Re: trooble sleeping after a drink?
I sleep like a baby after boozing. I do wake up earlier than usual but usually because I'm either thirsty like you mention or I have to piss and find myself wandering around in my dreams trying to find a place to releive myself
![]() don't usually have much trouble getting back to sleep. Does Swil drink plenty of liquids before going to sleep at night? |

Was it a comment from this post? Don't know what to tell you. If so I'd better start watching my mouth more closely, lol.

I usually just drink until I pass out, sleep for about 14 hours and wake up feeling great!

Re: trooble sleeping after a drink?
no need to wait 'till after breakfast: beer and cereal, breakfast of champions
(or mimosa's are nice if you're highbrow)

Re: trooble sleeping after a drink?
swim usually eats at like 7pm and again at around 3am, so swim is used to the long time between meals.
cigs, cocaine and other stimulants certainly dont help an appitite |

Re: trooble sleeping after a drink?
The only thing that occurs is, if SWIY is very, very addicted to alcohol, he may be unable to sleep a full night because his BAC would not remain high enough to allow sleep (he'd begin withdrawing before a full night's sleep).
This is unlikely, however, as SWIY would basically be on death's door by this point. |
