Health - AFOAF is considering using diphenhydramine two days in a row.. He wonders if its wise

Let's start with basic medical info: He's 150 lbs, and has very, very light asthma.


Last night was the first time he tried experimenting with Diphenhydramine, and he started out with 8 25 mg pills. A light dose, but he really only wants to experience light visuals as well as a physical high.

Everything went well, unless you count going to sleep an hour and a half after dosing.


His question is as follows: Do you think there would be any medical implications if he, after taking that many pills with asthma and his weight factored in, would it be safe to dose himself again with an equal or greater amount of diphenhydramine?

People have been known to do up to 375mg daily without much side effects. While it is not necessarily recommended, it is doubtful that anything bad would happen. Diphenhydramine is a drug in which a tolerance can build quite fast, but one should not rely on that tolerance for dosage.

swim tried that. twice in fact. nothing happened on the second day. maybe there's a short-term tolerance to it?

As it ended up, there is apparently, as chrisn said. I ended up catching almost nothing taking the same amount that night.

also, i've noticed that trips within a week are somewhat weaker... but if swim waits a week, it's wonderful again. try that if you wanna do it again
