Extracting D-Amphetamine from medication

I've searched the forums and can't find any threads on this topic.

Does anyone know how I could extract and perhaps crystalize the pure D-amphetamine from ADHD medication IR 5mg ones? Say if I had a large quantity..

It surely can't be that hard I was thinking of grinding up to a powder then mixing with water then maybe filter and evaporate the water?.. I'm not too good with these things so any advice will be appreciated.

I tried searching for what you said to just then but nothing comes up

I just found it then I changed "smokeable" to "smokable".
