The legend of heroin

SWIM has always wanted to try heroin for a long time. he was never exposed to drugs at all as a young teenager or child as his friends and family were never involved. this led SWIM to the internet and books, wikipedia and sites like these. it seems that so many of SWIMS favourite artists, musicians and writers were recreational users of drugs, alot of the time it was heroin.

SWIM was very ignorant to drugs in general so he has spent the last 3 years reading and experimenting with different drugs. When SWIM went to college he met many like minded people who shared the same views. the main idea being that to say "dont do drugs" you should have at least have some first hand expierience. SWIM has found the last 3 years interesting as he has met many new friends, had many good nights out and has expierienced ALOT. he managed to achieve good 'A' levels and now has a good job in the city.

SWIMs curitosity led him to thinking about heroin and over the last 12 months SWIM has developed a kind of obbsession for the substance. he finds the whole myth and enigma sorrounding heroin is fascinating. SWIM is careful who he tells but fairly open about his drug use, but it seems that when ever the word heroin crops up even the most open-minded individuals are struck by it. its not that its dirty or cheap, people just seem to have general 'no go' view on it. heroin seems to have gained a whole aroma of myths and legends around it, the word itself is frowned upon. It seems to free the mind and people are generaly scared by total pure freedom. This has only interested SWIM even more and he is totally captivated by how a substance so small and totally natural has seemed to created its own lore and persona.

SWIM just wanted to share his view of it with people on here as he is sure many like minded individuals will be able to relate to this.
