What kind of pills are available in europe?
SWim takes OXYs at home for pain. But is working in Germany and out of meds. Any idea of how it works over here? Or what is available in the streets of Amsterdam?

Re: What kind of pills are available in europe?
I imagine everything can be found on "the streets" somewhere in any part of the world. I'm sure there is someone around to diagnose and write a prescription, maybe have your local prescribing doctor contact the doctor in Germany?

Re: What kind of pills are available in europe?
If SWIeasyB experiences adequate pain relief from smoking marijuana, as many do, he should know that quality hashish is available legally and at reasonable prices in shops and cafes all over amsterdam.
If THC doesn't cut it, SWIM reccomends taking tayo's advice and having SWIyour former doctor contact someone in Deutschland. |

Re: What kind of pills are available in europe?
The general approach to medicating pain with opiates in the UK seems to be to use dihydrocodeine, tramadol, fentanyl then morphine sulphate - in that order with increasing severity of pain. Some doctors will also prescribe methadone for pain. A lot of the opiate pain killers available in the US are just not available at all on the National Health Service here.
It will be different in every European country though and I can't speak for Holland. |

Re: What kind of pills are available in europe?
It's literally impossible to get strong opiates and opioids by faking pain here in the Netherlands, though if you have a prescription for it in your home country, your doctor might be able to convince a doctor in Germany to write a script for the period you'll be in Germany.
Trying to get anything on the streets of Amsterdam is stupid and dangerous if you aren't local and don't know your way around. The red light district is especially known for the fact that foreigners often get approached or approach junkies for drugs and get mugged, sometimes just beaten up, but sometimes at knife point as well. Even if you would find someone who can get opioids for SWIY it will only be heroin and methadone. Certainly no oxycodone, which is a extremely rare threat here in the Netherlands. |
