Making an apricot liqueur
Hi,
I made an apicot liqueur according to a recipe I got. I used a pure alcohol liquid (95%) to make the apricot liquid more, well, alcoholic. The thing is that the alcohol flavour kind of "took over" and is now stronger than the apricot flavour. What can I do to thin the alcoholic flavour? It's not the strength of it that's the problem but the taste. Any advise would be appreciated! |

This sounds interesting: Can you post the recipe?

Re: Making an apricot liqueur
If you have more apricots, then add them but something tells me this could prove to be difficult. I suggest you start over with 40° neutral-tasting alcohol such as vodka. This would be strong enough.
