Morning glory seed question

Morning glory has been growing EVERYWHERE in swim's area. It is very difficult to walk even 30 feet without coming across a morning glory vine, and they seem to favor swim's yard in particular. Swim has been waiting for a long time for the morning glory plants to produce pods, then one day there was a HUGE rainstorm. Swim went to look at the plants the next day, and they are filled with pods, and on some plants the pods are more common than flowers. Swim has read on erowid and other sources that the seeds have to be black before they will contain LSA. All the seeds swim has found are soft and white to light(ish) green, however some of the pods appear to have dried out and contain hard black seeds. Also, when a even a white seed is picked, it turns turns hard and black when dried, and appears to shrink to perhaps half its original size.

So will the (dried) black seeds contain LSA, or do they have to blacken in a living pod?
