Differences with heroin highs

I've read somewhere that the illicit afghani base heroin has a better high than if it was just diamorphine,due to other alkaloids and stuff that can also cause a high,for example-pharmaceutical heroin is just diamorphine,but illicit heroin has acetylcodeine/acetylmorphine/monoacetylmorphine.codeine/papaverine
in it as impurities that are psychoactive in their own right,which in varying levels are more likely to make you nod/be sedating,etc.etc.,has anyone who's purified their heroin,ever noticed if there was a difference? or anyone who's tried the white stuff,noticed a difference in the high from say tar? SWIM asks as what i read was,that here in the uk,those lucky few on diamorphine scripts
were somewhat disappointed(!!!!)in that the buzz from it,as it was too clean,and not nearly as good as the crap they'd been buying off the streets!! (some people are just never satisfied are they?!!)

no one here purifies heroin. and if they said they had tried the white stuff, they would be breaking the rules about swimming with a lifejacket on and they might get banned.
