Nitrogen

Wikipedia says it can get someone who isn't you high like nitrous oxide at the right pressure. Does anyone who isn't you have any experience with anything that isn't this?

I have no experience at all but I would stick to nitrous. Cheap, legal, easy and well known, no need for an alternative.

Because I think it is better classified as a natural drug than nitrous oxide.

Nitrous oxide is not that cheap, legal or easy. Especially not all three in combination.
Nitrogen is free (there's enough in compressed air to get you high at high pressures). This means we are all breathing drugs right now... we just have yet to harness their power... except for scuba divers they're freakin geniuses!

And this "no need for an alternative" goes against my Polydrug Abuse philosophy and I think its a negative attitude to have.

Nitrogen has been suggested as a method of execution.

Bongo inhaled some pure N2 once. It was like taking a breath of air - while suffocating.
