Other - Fear of Pissing SWIMself on Mushrooms

Maybe it will sound weird but most of the times when SWIM eats mushrooms he's afraid of pissing on himself. He doesn't feel anymore if he wants to piss or not. And the worst is that on shrooms he's always feeling like he's wet, which makes him even more worried ("but... Is it my piss? Did I just piss on myself?").
SWIM's last mushrooms session was almost ruined only because of that. During most of the trip he was thinking "Do I have to piss ? When was the last time I pissed ?", and when he goes to the toilet he doesn't need to piss of course.

Does SWIY experiences the same problem when on shrooms ?

huh,dont know what to tell you maybe try a large dose alone(if your experianced)and maybe then if you dont pee your self you could get over the fear?dont even try to piss the whole night,if you do who cares?theres worse things then peeing yourself!

Alone he wouldn't care. I don't think there is a solution to the problem of my friend. I'm curious if anyone else has this fear.
But if he did piss on himself that would be horrible - can't handle the odor of piss all the trip! And it isn't always possible to take a shower.

Are you aware that this is a mindgame SWIY plays with himself? With such mind games one can not let go and surrender to the trip. SWIY has thrown up an imaginary wall to climb. And since there is no fun in climbing this wall, best thing is to let go. Only then one can truly experience and enjoy the trip.

Can it be that SWIY is too self conscious and that this restrains SWIY from other joys in life as well? If so then there's much more to win here, than just enjoying the trip.

Odor? Shower? Forget about that. Worrying about those things will just make SWIY piss himself. There's nothing to worry about. Pissing oneself is not likely to happen on shrooms. One is usually very conscious on shrooms and in the rare instance such thing would happen, then the slightest leakage would certainly be noticed by the shroomer, before anyone could ever notice.

Tryptamines tend to make manifest subconscious thoughts, feelings and fears. Maybe SWIY needs to take a good long hard look at his potty-training years without the help of shrooms and, well, for want of a better phrase, get over it. SWIYou're a big boy and you're not going to wet SWIYour pants. Once SWIYou've conquered your deep-seated fear of something so silly, really, then SWIY will be able to enjoy the experience.

As well as what was said, things like urges to go to the bathroom can come across as strange feelings and emotions. On mushrooms one could squirm about and be grabbing their crotch and not really know that their body needs to go to the bathroom to pee orange psilocin urine. (Which in some cultures would be drunk for more effects.)

Does this sound familiar? The body trying to say go to the bathroom could come across as just "pee" and the mind could go off on a tangent and say "pee yourself?" but if there were an underlying fear of peeing on yourself it could also manifest when using mushrooms.

Labmonkey thinks he knows the feeling you're describing as far as the sensation that you might pee, or maybe have, a strange sensation. A quick patting of the area in question has always been enough to suffice monkey that he is indeed a dry monkey and alleviate such suspicions. Not once has it actually happened that peeing was actually the case so monkey suggests simply chalking it up as one of those weird sensations that can occur on shrooms and leaving it at that.

You're thinking of the fly agaric (amanita) mushroom, the active ingredient in which, muscimol, is not fully metabolized by humans & comes out in the urine. The Siberian shamans used to (maybe still do) drink their own whizz when on amanitas, in order to prolong the shamanic/stoned state. A nice hot cup of your kidneys' finest while on psiloc(yb)in shrooms would result only in a lack of hook-ups with the gender of your choice for the forseeable future, AFAIK.

i searched and searched for the psilocin in urine but i'm 90% positive a 2nd trip can be had, if someone has a resource for it that would be cool, but if not you win... for now. I'd done the research before and that was my conclusion.

swim knows wut u r talking about, on one heavy trip swim kept checkin his pants because he thought he was pissing, when he would check, it would be dry, he would try to take a piss and nothing would come out, swims buddy thought he shit his pants, but also that was in his head.

however, swim knows a girl who pissed herself on 10 grams of shrooms because "she got to relaxed" it can happen, but im sure if ur pissing urself on shams u should do a lesser dose

for girls, psychedelics can cause uterine contractions and maybe influence the bladder? anyway it's not advised to take psychedelics while pregnant for that reason.

well we can agree on amanita actives being excreted in urine unchanged. also i did read that 3-10% of psilocin is excreted unchanged, but i swear i read a report that said 50-70% (something like that)

SWIM has the same problem ,both with piss and shit.Also has this problem on high cannabis dose.It ruined SWIMs last trips ,no to say that my stomach was full of gases.The more SWIM takes shrooms the less SWIM feels the "spiritual" part of the trip. SWIM is happy that he is not alone with such problem

Swiy will more likely imagine swiy's self peeing himself than actually performing the action. If Swiy can get the thought out of self and out of mind it will not be a problem. For instance, Swim once tripped on my mushrooms with an impending court date to which he was guilty and knew there would be harsh judgement. Swim removed this thought from his head and had a one of his better trips, despite the negativity in his life at the time. ^_^ The way Swim did it? Swim did some pre thinking to eating the shrooms and prepared by telling himself that anything could possibly happen so why worry if anything did possibly happen? (In Swim's case a bad trip) Then when Swim started to feel the effects of the mushrooms, the bad trip started. Swim remembered that this might happen though. Swim knew it might happen though because anything could happen so don't worry about it. ^_^

P.S. Swim does not suggest this in largely populated areas. Not worrying about some things may turn out bad.

Taking a leak on shrooms was nothing special. In fact I barely realized I had to go. There is just no way thats possible unless a higher dose makes you lose control of bodily functions or something.

swim gets mad paranoid about pissing there self if they smoke really good bud, only if its really good though, swim has friends who've had the same paranoia seems like it go's away if u smoke frequently enough, so maybe if shrooms are consumed more the paranoia would cease to exist, if that doesnt work benzos do a great deal for paranoia in swim's opinion

Never happened to SWIM, but his brother once rushed to his room, looking anxious, taking his pants of and asking if he had pissed himself. He had taken ayahuasca.

Edit: And this was in our home, his brother was tripping in his own room alone, so it wasn't about fear of embarrasment.

I used to get the exact same fear in my younger days. I used to have alot of social anxiety at the time and (Like most i think,) Can remember pissing on myself at one time or another in my life (Im talking childhood etc.)

Pissing yourself no doubt leads to embarrassment and embarrassing situations can be traumatic. I'd say the head-game your playing on yourself is probably just a manifestation of an embarrassing experience pissing yourself as a child or your just not used to treading in such open water.

What i mean is by the open water thing is that psychedelics can dissolve your reasoning a bit and you can develop irrational fears that something that could happen will happen, just because it can.

You'll most likely "grow out of this" when you manage to have a couple trips where you don't remember it or you'll just be able to hang onto the realization that it won't happen. (Don't remember which it was for me.)

Hey Solipsist, i say YES! i feel the same on 'shrooms! B) usually it is going like this: i go to the toilet, pissing, going out to the party and i feel that my f**king faucet is not turned off! I think "hey man i feel just like i'm going to start piss! sh*t!" 10-20 minutes of checking myself, looking between the legs and slight paranoia...than this effect goes away. 8) Next time to avoid this i'll use the condom 8))) just to be sure

Hmmm...well most people have said that this is nothing to worry about and is not likely to happen, but this actually happened to SWIM once. It was during a very deep trip on mushrooms and syrian rue when SWIM had entered an ego loss stage. He was lying in his bed and didn't even know what had happened til a while later. At the time it just felt warm and quite pleasant to tell the truth. When he did realize that he'd pissed himself it didn't upset him. No big deal...just realized with surprise that he'd been tripping so hard that he'd lost control of that bodily function and then he got up and cleaned up.

So it can happen....but I'd agree that it's nothing to worry about. BTW, this has only happened to SWIM once. It may have had something to do with the combination with the syrian rue.

This is a serious suggestion;

Get a Kilt and wear it with pride, trip outside. If swiS does piss themselves he'll be fine and dandy as it will just hit the ground, swiS will hear the sound, realize what's happening and assume a nice comfortable position leaning back and holding up his Kilt so as not to sprinkle it. I doubt he'd actually piss himself anyway. After a Kilted trip or two I'm guessing he'll be completly fine.

Kilts have a nice wee pouch on the front as well, so swiS could carry some sanitary wipes incase the initial flow gets his legs a wee bit. Also great for carrying weed and smoking accessories. Everyone will envy your coolness, especially when they see your fabulous ease of urinary excretion, lift and go, well, spose it could be go then quickly lift but they won't know that.

yeah man that shit happened to me, not the shit part tho, kept thin kin i needed a piss but couldnt go, i think the main prob with people having shit trips is if they smoke a fuck load of weed, i stopped now after 9 years of blazin and am looking forward to a season with a clean head, hopefully i will have many more journeys yet to come. only better. roll on season 07. peace
