Drugs Vs. Relationships

It's getting to be quite apparent for swim that as long as drugs are in his life they will always be his first choice for companionship. A relationship with drugs I guess is no different than being in an unhealthy one with another person. Unfortunately theres some real bad seeds out there. In particular lady Cocaine who's been with just about everyone during sex. Stay away from this one if you have not yet... you're bound to get something.... plus she is very clingy and eventually demands you bring her with you wherever you go.

anyways does this hold true for anyone else? or can you love a human more than your drug of choice? if so how do you do it?

Cocaine is a nasty ego me,me,me drug anyway. which can progressively ruin relationships and has done, As can any demanding activity/substance.

Love is something different thou in swia's opinion. and as to whether people wish to let there usage effect other peoples relationship or lives is there call.

swia values her partner more then anything. thing is swia's partner also uses so its not likes its really a problem for her or him. If he wanted to stop he would not mind if swia carried on and Vice versa.
We also help each other during withdrawal and come downs are very supportive of one and other so in a sense it is not an issue really.

One advantage drugs have over humans is that SWIM does drugs when he wishes. Drugs don't pressure him to do this or that. However, SWIM is not addicted. SWIM thinks of deep, passionate love as if it were an addiction and he avoids it for the same reason he avoids drug addiction. If you fall too deeply in love, you become a slave, just as one can become a slave to addiction. It is necessary then to distance oneself from whatever it is that enslaves him.

When swim was young and not as wise he thought opiates were better than love from another person.Ofcourse soon after swim fell in love and reallized they are not.That relationship ended but about a year after that swim found another person he was very in love with.Now just recently that has ended and swim is torn apart.He sometimes kids himself and says he needs no one as long as he has his drug of choice but this is very untrue.Being loved is one thing almost all human beings strive for.Nothing is as good and all the methadone and fentanyl in the world can't be better than that.

Swim thinks thats why he chose opiates as his drug of choice.Out of all the drugs they are the one that feels closest to the euphoria of being loved,the warmth.Unfortunately even they can't fix a broken heart.For a short time swim feels as if he is whole again but he is not.No chemical on earth can make you feel as good as loving someone and them loving you back.
