Combinations - mixing hydrocodone (vicodin) and alprazolam (xanax)

Swim was thinking about doing this. Maybe 20 mg hydrocodone and .5-.75 mg of alprazolam. anyone ever tried this? for reference i have basically no tolerance to either, but i have used both of them before in higher doses.

swim has used both usually at higher doses, but never together i know many OD's happen when you combine benzos with opiates so swiy should be carefull if they try that but those doses do seem reasonable to combine

if swiy tries that id like to hear the results

SWIM has mixed opiates and benzos many times. It is relatively safe unless you overdo it. Start low and see how it feels. 15-20mg of hydrocodone is a good dose to start with. If you have taken both drugs separately in larger amounts, then the above cocktail would be a good place to start. SWIM finds that a low dose of benzos can potentiate the effects, but too many benzos can take away from the experience. Some people will disagree.

In Swim's honest opinion, this combo is an excellent choice for a day of relaxation. 20-30 mg of Hydrocodone and 2 mg of Xanax work well together for Swim, although unless one has taken Xanax before like this, much more than that will make movement hard; especially if one has to work. Swim finds that the Hydrocodone masks the feel of the Xanax, if the Xanax is used in a smaller amount than 1.5 mg. Swim finds that good bud can also be mixed with this combo for a true feeling of peace and contentment. Moderation is the key with this though, if one were to overdue it or mix it with too much(any) alcohol by accident, well.....Swiy should be easy with it and enjoy. This is Swim's fourth favorite combo. By the way, props to everyone on this website, I have never come across a forum with so many competent and helpful individuals, period.

swim agrees with this 100%. hydrocodone + alprazolam + THC = bliss. 2 mg of xanax is a little bit heavy in swim's opinion. if swiy doesn't regularly take xanax and has no tolerance to it at all, swim would recommend swiy takes no higher than 1 MG; any higher combined with the hydrocodone and swiy might end up sleeping away a good buzz.

swim does this drug combination all the time; adding carisoprodol (soma) in that mixture is also quite amazing.

SWIM has a LOT of experience with mixing benzos and opiates. In his opinion, alprazolam is NOT the best drug to combine with hydrocodone. Diazepam is a much better choice. The dosage SWIY suggests should not be dangerous, but at the same time would not be very beneficial. SWIM went over a few of his experience reports where he mixed hydrocodone and alprazolam, and he found no difference between an experience with just hydrocodone and an experience with hydrocodone and alprazolam, and felt that it is just a waste of alprazolam. SWIM loves hydrocodone by itself, and while the alprazolam does not take away from the opiate buzz, SWIM takes NO notice to the benzodiazepine buzz. This is just from SWIM's experience, but if SWIY has the desire to do it, then go for it!

Personally i feel that a decent amount of Oxy Contin 40mg and about 4 mg of Xanax and youll be in heaven but thats just my toll.everyones is diff but benzos and opiates are deff one of the b est combos ive ever done.

Now, SWIM took 6mgs of Xanax and 2 5mg Vics (took xanax first)
and an hour later the vics. And the vics were not felt at all. Is this common when taking xanax before opiates?

Xanax should go fine, Another good one is 4 mg Lorazepam with 60 mg of Oxycontin and 4 tylenol 3's (30mg Codeine phosphate and paracetemol) with 2 advil regular strengths. The Advil isn't neccessary but it acts as a mild opiate protaganist, the oxycontin and codeine phosphate together actually increases the strength of both narcotics without having to increase dosages. The problem there Joemamma would be that under any circumstance would anybody feel 10 mg of hydrocodone, though hydrocodone is not the weakest opiate it lies between codeine and oxycodone and is on the lesser half of the opiate spectrum
