Stan has taken nitrazepam countless times. The only effect he has noticed is falling asleep. Dose never mattered, always the same thing.

Swim had 7 nitrazepam pills 5mg each, swallowed all, and as a sleeping pill, didnt sleep very well at all! infact made Swim hyped and very much awake. Swim is not complaining but is wondering if Swiy's(?) has any similar effects?

35mg of nitrazepam is not a massively high dose especially if one has a tolerance. SWIY should have felt something still. Does SWIY have a tolerance to benzodiazepines?

35mg of nitrazepam is roughly equal to 35mg of diazepam if I am correct (which is the strength all benzodiazepines are comparable to)

It strange SWIY feels hyperactive though...Never heard of that one

Swim has a binge on the 'pams' once a month and has done for 2 yrs or so.

If Swim takes 15mg nitrazepam, she would get a nice mellow buzz and a great night's sleep. Any more, then gets zipped up and cannot sleep.



Swim strongly advises not to drive while taking these or while consuming alcohol.

Okay, so SWIM has 3 nitrazepam 10mg pills.. Swimmy is well versed in downers/benzos so is going to make a running note of everything experienced.

Initial - Ingested one 10mg pill. Waited a half hour, not much.
T+30 min - ingested another 10 mg pill. got stuck in throat, gross, haha. Weird taste in back of mouth.

T+1 hour - Definete benzo effects. Surprised at how strong these are, even though swim read up on them and swim know they are the strongest. Ingested final pill. Same gross taste in throat. Oddly, Swim is very cold. Turning up the heat now, hopefully that will help. Feels good to move Swims body.. not quite euphoria.. well maybe a little euphoria but not like other euphoric drugs. Swim is relaxed to the max. Craving a joint like a mofo but currently out of that. Also craving smokes. Swim is feeling very silly, sort of goofy and things are funny. Swim finds it really fun to try and walk, as she is sort of discombobulated. Swim has an anxiety disorder and this is definetly a welcome break from the constant anxiety that she deals with.
T+45 min - smoking a cigarette. Very pleasurable, although smokes feel stronger than normal. Seems to aid in the euphoria though. Noteable that swim doesnt feel really tired. Which is odd. a little dizziness but nothing swim cant handle.

T+ 1 hour - Swim is definetly pleasurably inebriated. Swim likens this to taking about 5 -10 mg of clonazepam, which she has done many times before. Very pleasurable, doing menial tasks like typing here swim finds very pleasurable too. Swim is also thinking forward to sleeping tonight and finds that it will be a good sleep, which swim has been suffering from insomnia. Swim was listening to the running commentary on television(the simpsons for anyone interested. Swim is sick of it, its not interesting so Swim has decided to listen to some music.

t+ 1 hour fifteen minutes - Swim is yawning, but not really tired. Lazy for sure and definetly calm as a cucumber. A little hungry too.

T+ 1 hour 25 min - swim is hungry for sure. Going to eat a ham sandwhich.
ETA: ham sammich was great. But lacking something. Swim is still craving a joint.

T+ 1 hr 45 min - swim has decided to procure another pill from her mother. Just to bump up the experience. Swim just took another 10mg.

T+ 2 hours - Swim is listening to some great drum n bass, her favorite. Swim feels happy, content, not really "out of it" to the point of not knowing what she is doing, but definetly happy and content. Euphoria is very small, but just enough to put swim in a great mood. SWIM had to run next door to get pill from mom, and swim found that the transfer from cold cold cold outside to inside has eradicated the cold feeling she was having, which is nice.


T+2 hours 15min - Swim definetly feels more euphoric now. or maybe its just the calmness that seems euphoric because its such a big change from being anxious all the time. yawning alot now but still not particularly tired. Maybe a little but not really sleepy.

T+ 3 hours - seems like its come down a bit, not much euphoria or sleepiness now.. swim is considering trying to go to bed. Its been a few hours of fun, but Swim is a bit tired, not a whole lot but this seems like a good time to hit the hay and get a decent sleep. So swim is signing off to go to bed. I was speaking to some guy on the bus and he said that he had tried various benzos in various dosages and had never experienced much pleasure from any until he tried Nitrazepam.

He said that he took 11 x 5mg (55mg in total) tablets on an empty stomach and around half an hour later he felt a nice wave of relaxation, calm and euphoria which lasted another 45 minutes to an hour until he couldn't stay awake anymore and had a long 10-11 hour sleep waking up feeling slightly groggy but nothing overly unpleasant.
Apparently his memory was slightly blurred, he could remember watching TV and reading articles on the internet but couldn't remember specifically what he had seen or read.

He says that he will be trying again but at a slightly lower dosage to see if he could stay awake for the entirety of the buzz. He thought that it was the best benzo he has tried.

so, swim has finally been delivered some Nitrazepam after waiting a long time... 10 mg pills... as someone who has never taken the drug before, and any other benzo for that matter, what would swim be likely to experience with his first encounter?

also, is it safe to take a 10mg pill considering it will be the first time?

i'll post swims experiences in a few days, once he's got a few nights of taking it behind him.

Most benzo comparison charts compare 10mg of Nitrazepam to be equal to 10mg Diazepam. If you've never taken a benzo, 30mg would probably be a good starting point, you may want to start off smaller. You know yourself better than anyone else. If you have a general normal or high tolerance to most drugs then 30mg would be fine, if you get buzzed from non-alcoholic larger then start lower

As long as you don't mix it with alcohol then Nitrazepam and benzo's in general (not including Midazolam) are pretty safe. The LD50 (where half of the population would die) is in the gram range so even taking a hundred tablets (not recommended) will probably do no more than put you to sleep for hours/a couple of days even.

I do like Nitrazepam but I do find that it is very hypnotic so I wouldn't try it in the morning as you will feel groggy all day. The effects are also very long lasting in my experience. I have a high tolerance and at my usual recrational dose, I have it, enjoy my time, fall to sleep then wake up and feel groggy for a few more hours which I would estimate would be 12-14 hours in total.

Make sure you do a lot of reading, know what you should expect from the experience, please please don't mix with other sedatives A lot of more experienced users do this and even they get caught out sometimes. Don't enjoy it too often as you don't want an enjoyable experience to become an addiction.

Swim just got nitrazepam 10Mg daily) on a repeat prescription it re pleases his zopiclone (7.5) it also has to ber noted that he is on diazepam 20mg daily and on citalorpam 20mg dialy.

he will do a experiance report soon as he only just got his nirtazepam... And he will mtry some on the near future (to do a experisance report)

Sparkles began taking Nitrazepam in 1964 to help her sleep, however, she was already addicted to diazepam and found that Nitrazepam were similar in effect, the only difference were the long after effects. She would feel doped up over the whole of the next day, "spaced out" is the best way to describe it. After using it for a few weeks Sparkles began taking larger amounts (sometimes 50-60mg) and she found that if she ran out and took just diazepam, she would feel so depressed she was almost suicidal. She stood in the middle of a shopping center one day and felt so bad she burst into tears and just collapsed to the floor, she didn't understand why she felt so numb and was experiencing absolutely no feelings. No joy, pain, anger, fear, expectation...nothing.
She's since realised, benzo's, especially Nitrazepam, are exceptionally depressive, for her. Over the years she's also noticed that her body has changed. Now, she can take them and she gets higher, quicker, and on much smaller doses. But they don't depress her after long term use, don't wipe out all of her feelings now. Perhaps her brain has changed due to her long term heroin addiction? She has found small doses of all drugs now affect her this way, the only drug that she still seems to gain a tolerance for, is heroin.
Apologies for bringing other substances into the discussion, but it was relevant to enable Sparkles to explain the difference between now and then, one drug and another.
