Re: Clonazepam Experiences

Earlier this year swim managed to get his hands on 12 clonazepam(clonopin)wafers. What these are is little pills that you don't swallow you dissolve them under your tongue. They are made with a nice sugar sweet taste, and taste like candy(definitely be good to keep these out of reach of children).Swim had been having a rough week but he took seven of these and he was laughing and smiling and calm.No jitters or depressing thoughts.Swim decided since he was feeling good he would go hang out with his friend.Swim then takes one more of the clonazepam(clonopin)wafers and gives two to his friend.

Turns out his friend had a gram of cocaine and him and swim decided to do some lines. This was interesting, swim felt some of the cocaine euphoria and rush but the clonazepam(clonopin)kept him from experiencing all the negative coke side effects such as paranoia, sweating, restlesness.

The thing swim found cool about clonazepam(clonopin)is it calmed swim and made him feel good without all the drowsiness and forgetfulness of otehr benzodiazepines.

Yes, this is why Stan prefered these over other benzo's when he was into that stuff. Clonazepam makes him energetic, not "chill", and still a great aid for anxiety.

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

SWIM has a bit of experience with this chemical. He's tried clonazepam, alprazolam, tetrazepam and diazepam, and considers clonazepam the best of all of them.

He never doses very high, no more than 2 mg, and this is enough to keep his anxiety under control. He started using it this year, to help with uppers comedown and to try to overcome social anxiety.

Clonazepam is great benzo, lasts long time, up to 10 hours and it isn't as "dirty" as alprazolam. Clonazepam provides a clean, mellow, relaxed high without the zombie-like feeling of alprazolam and diazepam.

Slow onset in swim's case, up to 1 hour, and peaks in 3 hours. SWIM usually doses in the evenings and sometimes feels a bit groggy when he wakes next day.

The only side effect is that you can feel sleepy when peaking, very similar to MJ sedation in SWIM's opinion. Mixes well with cannabis and uppers like someone above said.

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

SWIMs experience report has been posted in another thread as well, but because the experience report was about clonazepam, here it is.

SWIM got a few boxes of Rivotril(clonazepam) ampoules for free from a friend who works in a hospital, and even though SWIM found them very nice souvenirs, they weren't very usefull to SWIM because he doesn't IV, and the only way to get full effects out of benzodiazepine ampoules is to inject them intravenously, which SWIM won't do, not even if he got a grand if he did it. But SWIM read the disclaimer that came with each box, and it also said that it can be administered intramusculary. Bingo! SWIM still had some sterile 0,5cc 29G insulin syringes, so he thought, why not. Here is SWIMs experience.

T 22:42 SWIM injects 1cc of solution containing 1mg clonazepam intramusculary. It burns a slight bit, but not too much. Within several seconds SWIM felt his whole body relaxed, he felt like every musle in his body went from normal muscle tension to total relaxation. SWIM says it just can't be placebo, because he felt it so strong, way too strong too be placebo.

T 22:47 Though the muscle relaxing effects where extremely strong and came up almost instantaniously, he doesn't feel a mental wave of relaxation yet. SWIM is more relaxed than he was before injection, but the physical wave of relaxation unfortunenately wasn't followed by a inmediate wave of mental relaxation.

T 22:52 The injection site is starting to hurt a lot more. The clonazepam in SWIMs ampoules is dissolved in a solution which for the biggest part consists of absolute ethanol, and injecting pure ethanol in one's muscle obviously can't be very comfortable. Though it also has a big advantage, it's a good disinfectant, so any bacteria that somehow entered the puncture wound were the needle went in, will probaply be killed by the ethanol.

T 22:57 The mental relaxation was somewhat delayed, but is now getting noticeable. SWIM went for a bike ride on his racing bike earlier on this evening, and after having had a nice shower and put on some clean clothes he already felt relaxed, but it's getting amplified by the clonazepam. SWIM is now definately getting very relaxed, comparable to the relaxation of a medium dose of opioids, which will hopefully, and probaply still increase in the oncoming hour.

T 23:02 SWIM is getting pretty slow and sedated, but sedated in a very pleasant way. The only benzodiazepines SWIM considered euphoric in his experience are Rohypnol(flunitrazepam), and maybe Dormicum(midazolam). No other benzodiazepine had any positive effect on SWIM in medical doses, and made him very sleepy in recreational doses. SWIM has a steady supply of Rivotril in tablet form(the Roche ones), and they didn't had any effect on him either, but this is a completely different league.

T 23:07 The relaxation and sedation have increased lineair from 20 minutes ago to now, and will probaply keep on increasing with the same rate. SWIM can compare this to a medium to high dose of opioids. The same strong relaxation, feeling warm and cozy and content. Benzo's never have been mentally addictive to SWIM, even though he has literally tons of them laying around. But when IM'ing clonazepam, and probaply any other benzo, the addictiveness goes up a whole nother scale, especially for those who already enjoy them (maybe a bit too) much.

T 23:12 Time also seems to fly by, it's already half an hour since SWIM injected his shot of clonazepam, but it feels to him like it was only 10 minutes ago. This is another effect very comparable to opioids for SWIM, he is usually to sedated to watch the time, and everytime he does look up the time it's 5 minutes later or more than he expected it to be.

T 23:17 The sedation and relaxation are still increasing lineair as expected. This is now really feeling like what SWIM expects to feel of a benzo in terms of relaxation. This would be a perfect substance to de-stress with, even better than opioids since they cause a hangover for SWIM. But SWIM also definately sees where the added addictiveness lies with IM'ing benzo's. He will stay off them for as long as possible since he doesn't want a high benzo tolerance, which one will certainly achieve a lot quicker when administering benzodiazepines IM instead of orally.

T 23:22 Before the end of typing the last sentence of T 23:17 SWIM looked up how late is was, and it was already T 23:22. This stuff is really sedating, but in a pleasant way, and really comparable to that off opioids. You don't feel tired, though you will fall asleep easily if you would lay down in bed, but staying awake isn't hard either. It's now 40 minutes after injection and SWIM feels it was only 20 minutes ago.

T 23:32 Sedation has increase even more. A idea for a nice benzo combination just popped up in SWIMs head which he will probaply try out in about 2 weeks, 1mg Rohypnol(flunitrazepam) orally and 1mg clonazepam IM. The euphoria and relaxation, combined with the relaxation and sedation of the IM clonazepam will probaply be a perfect combo.

T 23:42 One hour after injection and SWIM has reached his plateau. SWIM feels very comparably to having taken a good dose of tramadol or some other medium strength opioid like hydrocodone. His legs are glowing of warmth, he is totally relaxed, completely content and at peace, and he feels very cozy. SWIM could never imagine a benzo could be so much like a opioid.

T 23:57 SWIM is indeed on his plateau. He experienced no changes in effects for the last 25 minutes or so. SWIM is listening to some music, Coldplay and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers definately add to the relaxing feeling. SWIM is probaply going to call it a day in 15 minutes, he is slowly getting a bit tired. SWIM is going to ride a big distance on his bike tommorow, so going to bed early would be good for his schedule for tommorow. One thing is certain, SWIM is going to sleep like a rose tonight.

T 00:12 The end of the experience. SWIM is slowly coming of his peak and is looking forward to lay in his soft, warm bed. SWIM is still feeling pretty cozy and content, and still very relaxed, though the relaxation is the first effect that seems to be subsiding. SWIM is very happy he tried IM'ing one of those cute little Rivotril amps, because it was a very nice experience he definately wishes to repeat in a while. Of to bed now, good night.

Disclaimer: SWIM injected a sterile solution from a medical vial. Never inject any pills, let alone benzodiazepines.

Re: First Benzo report

swim mostly likes them for coming down from caine or for heroin withdrawals. mainly xanax (alprazolam). but they are also really nice by themselves to just chill out and relax. especially klonopin (clonazepam) or any other benzo that is longer acting like valium (diazepam). the longer acting ones don't just knock you the hell out. they also really get rid of swim's anxiety. swim gets bouts of bad anxiety especially social.

Re: First Benzo report

swim wonders what the chances are for him getting perscribed a benzo. swim has bad enough anxiety but is currently on suboxone. a doc would probably not perscribe due to the history of drug abuse. anyone think otherwise?

alright, swim understands...

in other news, swim just took 2.5 mg or something of k-pins and is about to do another 100 mg of dph.

swim is worried that if he continues this he will eventually have to go through withdrawl.

swim would also like to know of any other ways of ingesting benzos, for betther effects.

if anything in this post violates the tos, swim will gladly edit.

Re: First Benzo report

this may be a stupid question but SWIM is wondering what dph is? I saw SWIY said tylenol, is it just regular old tylenol?

and what does this do to increase the effects?

thank you

Perhaps he's infering Tylenol (acetaminophen) with diphenhydramine. Commonly called Tylenol PM in the USA. it's a common sleep aid. Further information on diphenhydramine is available here:

Re: First Benzo report

The doseage probably won't be as nice feeling (from SWIMS personal experience). SWIM is prescribed xanax, and has taken other benzos. Occasionally he has benzo binges which he takes about 4-6 times his recommended dosage along with a few shots, or a few beers. He consumes most of the dose with a beer, then finishes the rest with a few more beers. But if he does this the next day, it's not as good, and SWIM isn't really as buzzed. This works fine for SWIM though, since he has terrible GAD and would rather take 1 day of full relief, rather than a week of little to no relief.

Re: First Benzo report

People are advised - for very good reason - not to co-administer benzodiazepines with alcohol. That includes beer. These drugs are mutually potentiating. This means that a xanax, or valium etc., taken with another CNS depressant, like alcohol, can turn one valium into two - and one beer into two. Or it can cascade into many. Depends on factors not yet fully understood.

This mixture has landed people in hospital. Occasionally in a coma. Feeling lucky? Won't happen to you? I'll bet this person did, too:

I forgot to add, yes, the combination is stupid. SWIM is aware. SWIM is willing to take risks though, and the relaxation is something too much for SWIM to pass by. And yes they do make eachother intensified.

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

SWIM has found it beneficial to take 2-3 k-pins with 4 ibuprofen for relief from bad migraines.
SWIM also becomes a cheap date when at the bar after taking 2 k-pins and a few beers. much to the delight of SWIMS friends and/or date as SWIM is pretty high strung usually.

SWIM lives in a small town and finds the best entertainment to be midnight bingo at a senior citizens center paired with 3-4 k-pins and an energy drink for good karma. SWIM hasn't won yet but it's a nice laid back time with 300 80 year old grammys and their home made goodies.

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

SWIM acquired 20 X 2mg clonazepam pills yesterday for recreational use. This is his first experience with clonazepam and he wanted to try these from a long time but couldn't find the trade name.

BTW, SWIM is highly tolerant to benzos and the dosages ingested by SWIM are not to be taken lightly for they can lead to dangerous situations if taken by a benzo naive person. Here goes the report:

3:30 pm - SWIM put 8mg clonazepam under his tongue. They were the quickest melting pills SWIM ever came across although they were not specifically meant for sublingual administration. SWIM didn't feel a thing for an hour so he almost began to conclude that this was one of those benzos which were not meant for SWIM.

+1 hour - SWIM felt slight euphoria and sedation creeping in. He felt like lying down and just relax.

+2 hour - SWIM felt the euphoria increased just a little and he was more sedated than he wanted to. SWIM passed out at this moment while reading a novel. It was 5 in the evening and SWIM has rarely slept on a benzo influence at this unusual time. Actually, that was quite surprising to SWIM because among all the benzos SWIM has abused previously and that too on large doses (nitrazepam, lorazepam, diazepam and alprazolam), SWIM could fight the sleep easily to experience the effects but this one simply nodded him off.

+4 hours - SWIM woke up 2 hours later feeling quite drowzy and drunk but not so euphoric. So he popped in 2mg alprazolam and the combo was very comforting, warm and fuzzy.

SWIM couldn't sleep for the whole night though as he had already slept 2 hrs before. He felt good and fuzzy for the whole night which he spent watching movies. He finally caught sleep at 6:00 a.m. and woke up at 11 a.m. today.

He woke up with slight constipation. SWIM has felt that benzos make him constipate. Is that true for other SWIYs out there too?

At 1:00 p.m. today SWIM decided to take 8mg more. Just to let you know, yesterday's experience was on an empty stomach while this one is on a stomach full of heavy breakfast. But SWIM doubts if that matters because SWIM doesn't swallow pills, he always uses sublingual administration method. Any help on this one?

Anyway, this experience is an entirely different one. SWIM was starting to feel warm, cozy and euphoric within 5 minutes and the euphoria reached its peak within an hour without any sedation whatsoever.

While writing this report now he just noticed the time and he is surprised to find its already 4:20 p.m. This made SWIM realize while everything is under control and he is not doing anything stupid he couldn't notice the time flying. What he felt was 10 minutes is actually an hour.

Its been 5 hours since he took them and he is still feeling really good.

End of report.

SWIM thinks clonazepam is one of the best benzos he has done and it reminded him of a mid level opiate high. SWIM was stuck with alprazolam for quite a long time and clonazepam definitely called in for a nice change. He definitely gives thumbs up for this substance.

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

Swim is impressed with the Clonazepam.
He has always been a xanax & valium expert but only tried tried the Rivotril
1mg yesterday.
He was so impressed at the 8 hr duration fighting off the anxiety.
SWIM could see taking 1 mg in the morning and 1 mg at night
and save the zannie's for special moments.

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

Clonazepam is now one of SWIMs favorites. He doesn't need to really mix it with alcohol. It gives him a nice mellow relief from his anxiety, and 3-4mg has him very relaxed the whole day and rids him of his social anxiety, and general anxiety.

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

SWIM had a new experience with clonazepam this past night.

SWIM decided she needed to go to bed very suddenly, so she could get up early. SWIM didn't want to swallow any pills with a stomach full of food. So after much contemplation, SWIM decided to crush up 2mg clonazepam and take them sublingually. These pills are very hard and definitely don't crush very easily. SWIM crushed the clonazepam up rather crudely and put it under her tongue. For some reason clonazepam has a minty, pleasant taste to it. SWIM actually enjoys the flavor. It is probably important to include in this report that SWIM had consumed a fairly strong dose of alprazolam earlier in the day. Anyways, as SWIM got into bed and waited for the clonazepam to kick in. Even after 5 minutes or so, it felt grainy... But it did put SWIM right to sleep and when SWIM's father came in the room to say good night, SWIM responded in a rather in a rather dopish/sleepy tone. It was at that point SWIM realized that this was a much stronger effect than she would typically expect from 2mg clonazepam and seemed to be feeling the effects fairly strongly. Hard to say how much a part the earlier dose of alprazolam came into play, but SWIM plans to repeat sublingual administration of clonazepam (2mg) tonight.

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

14:15 - SWIM takes 3 x 1mg clonazepam. he has always been a fan of alprazolam for anxiety, and has never really noticed much in terms of effects taking 1-2mg clonazepam, so 3 should definitely have a pronounced effect. swim will use his experiences with lorazepam, diazepam, and alprazolam to compare effects.

swim is feeling at the time, a little bit anxious because he is trying to resist lighting up a cigarette; let's see what clonazepam does to the anxiety.

14:30 - SWIM starts to feel a little squinty, a little giggly, a little stoned feeling. with alprazolam, SWIM usually feels like he is about to get really wasted and should probably sit down. SWIM feels very productive and has been thinking less and less about nicotine.

14:45 - SWIM is beginning to realize the nature of most benzodiazepines; and their lack of true recreational potential. Alprazolam seems to be the only benzo that produces any kind of euphoria worth revisiting. swim has tossed this benzo into the same category he put lorazepam and diazepam; effective at reducing mental anxiety, but ineffective for being a physical anxiolytic compared to alprazolam. Maybe later he will experience other effects that will set clonazepam apart from the others because of its longer half-life than alprazolam, but right now he'd place it a tiny half-step above diazepam and would rank his favorites as follows:

1.Alprazolam
2.Clonazepam
3.Diazepam
4.Lorazepam

15:00 - Oh, the yawning! SWIM is starting to feel very, very sleepy. Yet, at the same time, he feels a little speedier than he should from being hit like a ton of bricks by a benzo. swim would compare it to the little rush he feels from hydrocodone even though hydrocodone is very sedative.

15:30 - Relax music by Schiller is essential for really "getting into" the buzz. swim was drumming along with some slow beats and he noticed that his tendency to rush tempo was much less noticeable. the ability to feel the air between the beats is more profound; swim is definitely taking joy in some very simple things, so he would say that at this point, clonazepam is definitely taking a closer 2nd to alprazolam than he initially expected. at this point SWIM is experiencing increased euphoria to slower music, and some beautiful moments cause swim's thoughts to, well, swim out in the open as hid head sways from side to side in pure pleasure of the music he is listening to.

16:00 - Now SWIM is in the thick of the "Clonazepam Woods", and honestly it's not that thick. just an overall sense of peace and relaxation; great for listening to ambient music and for self-reflection. Alprazolam just makes swim feel happy along with this sense of peace and relaxation. from Swim's experience, he would say that clonazepam has less emotional effects than alprazolam. he finds both to be enjoyable, but in different facets. alprazolam makes him happy and makes him want to have a beer or smoke a bowl. swim can appreciate the clear head and the relaxed feeling that clonazepam alone has.

I'm going to post this now, but swim plans on adding another mg of clonazepam in the next couple of hours, and plans on smoking some high-quality buds.

swim will summarize his experience so far. Clonazepam is definitely a close second to alprazolam for the preferred benzo to take for both anxiety and recreation. SWIM would categorize all benzos in his experience as anti-psychedelics; when mixed with psychedelics, the psychedelic qualities of, say, DXM for example, would depreciate with the introduction of a benzo to the trip. benzos on their own are fun and fun when mixed with mild psychedelics such as marijuana or kratom, or when mixed with opiates.

swim doesn't feel the desire to mix anything with clonazepam. anytime he takes alprazolam, swim feels like he has to drink a beer or smoke a bowl to bring the benzo buzz to that next level.

clonazepam is not a psychedelic form of recreational drug. this is just a sit-back-and-chill form of recreational drug.

To be continued... will edit post later with more follow-up info

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

swim loves clonazepam, its definitely his favorite benzodiazepine. swim suffers from mild anxiety and when on maybe 2mg he feels like a huge weight has been lifted off of his shoulders. everything feels and looks so soft! and he feels very clear headed and relaxed. he enjoys it more than alprazolam mostly due to the longer half-life and much less amnesia. even on higher than normal doses he can function more or less properly.

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

swim had acess to huge quantities of clonazepam for free for many years he daily took around 12 mg AND TOOK weekend binges of up to 25 mg note swim says never ever ever ever ever do this
unlike high dose alprazolam binges clonazepam is still decentlly enjoyable if swiys tolerance is sufficient for the dosage it does not cause termors or profuse vomiting and swiy can still conversate and move decentlly well at least no less than if shit faced drunk swims anxiety was completelly alleviated at this time.. he enjoyed a few things sleeping a lot, smoking weed, having sex for hours because he was barelly there, staring into space, talking about nothing to his equally stoned friends, reading books, and sitting in his rocking chair
he would never have stopped but he needed to get a job and no one hires vegetables.. he would describe clonazepam as a moderate length benzo thats good at anxiety relief and insomnia in high does and does have very nice recreational qualities escpecially inhibition, body comfort, state of well being, and slight euphoric pulse

clonazepam is swims 4th favourite benzo.. also in swims experience clonazepam is the worst benzo to withdrawal from he snaps out and becomes violent and paranoid everytime

Re: Clonazepam Experiences

SWIM's experiences with clonazepam have only been in the 6mg range at the most, and he was kpinned out of his mind. He used to go to school all the time on like 4mg and just love the day but the come back and not really remember what we had done at all the day before. Now he just gets fucked up he guesses. Tonight 3mg of the stuff at work did the trick for SWIM. SWIM loves his kpins.
