60mg safe for someone who doesn't regularly take it?

SWIM just received 2 30mg capsules of Adderall and wondering is 60mg safe cause he just took the one about a half hour ago and feels nothing. SWIM use to take this stuff all the time (months ago) but now he feels nothing. Does anyone know why? Would SWIM taking Clonazepam have something to do with it?

SWIM didn't realize this was Adderall XR till after he ingested the one. So is it safe to crush the beads of the other one and snort it? Or crush them and ingest it?

Probably wait a minute to take the other. It is extended release, so it might take a while to kick in up to an hour. Chewing up the beads or crushing them up and snorting them is possible. If it hasn't been used before it is probably best to see how it affect swiy, I know people that have had panic attacks and grinding of teeth from 15mg, it all depends. Hope that helps.

Well its been about 4 hours not since SWIM took that 3mg of Adderall XR and just feels awake. Would it not be wise to take the other 30mg crushed up beads and parachute them? (parachuting is wrapping the powder in toiletpaper and swallowing it if you didn't know)

If the beads are crushed it will all hit at once, so depending on the level of stimulation SWIY is looking for which it seems is alot, or at least considerably more, SWIM would say go ahead and do it. But keep in mind that it's your body... not swim's.. I don't want to recommend bad advice and I hope this is not the only factor influencing SWIY's decision. Research is golden.

Depends, overdose could be considered getting to an uncomfortable range, or death. If swiy doesn't have any pre-existing heart conditions and is in good health other than that, there should not be a risk of death with taking it now. Half of the original dose is probably out of swiy's system as well, so considering that we're probably down to 45mg. With that said, it is probably okay, and the worst that could happen IMO, is dehydration, lack of nutrition, may experience some arythmias, and possibly a panic attack.

Also... yes, clonazepam will have something to do with it, that question had escaped me. Of neurotransmitters and receptors GABA has some of the stronger effects on the body, often overpowering or lessening the effects of inhibitors of dopamine receptors.

Always better to be safe than sorry, the more swiy gets experience with the pills the more swiy will know the comfortable dose. Just trying to provide sensible advice here.

How long does it take to dissolve under SWIM's tongue, SWIM might get the urge to swallow. Also SWIM is on prednisone right now, could that be a bad combination?

Eating the beads is an option but none of anything else on the post is a good idea, i.e. don't take 300mg! even if 400 happens to be the number that will kill (no evidence anyway) jeez... Also I applaud that swiy is taking safety into consideration instead of popping a handful of pills or not searching for interactions.

when swiy must swallow go ahead, what is swallowed will still be effective. I did a drug interaction check on medscape between prednisone, adderal xr, and clonazepam and nothing negative popped up. It seems it will be okay.

They're not dumb questions at all.

It could be chewed and the idea behind putting it under the tongue is for faster absorption through the mucous membranes in the mouth. It could also be snorted if so desired for the most intense effect. That is actually what swim would do as long as the beads were crushed which can sometimes be quite a task.

I would disagree with that statement on ineffectiveness. Maybe swiy should put half under the tongue, wait 5-10 minutes, then snort the other half, then swiy would notice the difference. Snorting is definitely not a waste IMO. Be sure to let us know how swiy is doing with it, and whether it was insufflated, put under the tongue, or parachuted.

Snorting it won't kill Swim right? Even if his heart is somewhat already beating fast? May be due to the fact that SWIM is coming off of Clonazepam and is having some withdrawal.

it should not kill swiy, one of amphetamine's effects are elevating the heart rate. If the clonazepam is wearing off it will just make the amphetamine effects more prominent, it is probably not much to do with clonazepam withdrawal.
