4-OH MIPT bad batch?

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but SWIM aquired a quantity of 4-OH MIPT in January of 2007 from a reputable supplier. SWIM has used this material before that date, and is familiar with it. The supplier in question has previously been %100 reliable (over a one year period).

SWIM has gotten this material from this supplier before with no issues. However, the Jan 07 batch seems to be about 15% potency compared to the last batch from said supplier.
SWIM is not asking for names of sources or anything like that, but would like to know if anyone is aware of this sort of an issue having occured in the recent past?

Yes it can be an issue. Probably the best thing to do is let the supplier know, they will likely recieve many more complaints and in an attempt to keep customers, they will re-ship. Swim knows that companies have said "if you purchased a bad batch of 2c-X in january 2007 we will re-ship your order" or something like that.

SWIM was just wondering, on a statistical note, if any others have had this experience before, and if so, how often? What kind of resolution, if any, did SWIY reach?

This could apply to any RC, not just 4-OH MIPT.

SWIM says that this is the first time an RC was definitively defective that SWIM has ordered. Two other times the order did not arrive. On one of those occasions it was resent, no questions asked.
