2 tabs over 4 hours enough to lengthen an LSD trip?

A friend of a friend was speaking to SWIM today and said that he'd bought 7 tabs from someone (Red Hearts which are quite common here, although SWIM has never had) and mentioned he'd been tripping for 26 hours so far. He said there was no bitter taste and he took one at 4 and the other 8. Is it possible that the trip duration is lengthened so much?

SWIM might buy a tab from him but he wonders if its a research chemical, DOx or 2C-x. Could it be legit LSD, which is quite common here?

Sorry if this has been asked, but I couldn't find anything in the Search.
