USA - importation laws
Has anyone here from the USA importet goods from abroad?? (not drugs, but normal goods)

In europe you'd get taxed (VAT) between 15-25% of the goods cost. Are there such trade barriers in the USA?

Or does it go through customs free whether it's a 10$ bumper sticker or a 250$ cell-phone?

I believe everything goes through customs free, and if anything illegal is found in the package(s), they charge the carrier a fee.
