Storing - Can acid "go off"?

can anyone tell me if acid can "go bad".. like spoil? i had 2 stamps for a long time nd idk if i should try to take them..do u think/know if itll be ineffective?? does anyone kno how long it takes for acid to "spoil"

depends how u packaged i know light can have an affect on them going bad and also heat.....good place to keep them in the freezer wrapped in foil...no people that keep them for a long time this way

in a word yes, lsd is a rather unstable molecule susceptible to light, heat and other stuff...just try em, it's not dangerous or anything, the worst thing is you'll not have anything happen. but be ready to trip in case they're still good.

they most certainly will not have gone "bad". no negative effects or anything like that. but it is very likely that they have lost some potency.


the best place to keep them is in the fridge (for short term)or in the freezer (long term). put them in a small baggie, then wrap in tin foil. also, make sure they are not near the light source in the fridge.

if you have kept them safe from light and rather cold depending on the duration of the wait then you should be fine

if not they will have just lost some of acid's wonderfulness but still there is so much to be had...

one of my friends found a whole sheet of blotter from the 70's or 80's maby the 90's but prably the 80's and it was up in an attic or somthing, im wondering if it is still any good? cuz if it is ill eat it.

eat it. why not its worth a try even if it aint as strong it still might work. but maybe after that long it will have lost all of its potency. was it just sittin in the attic not rapped in anything? is it real? or just a blotter

SWIM would treat it like a new research chemical. He'd eat one blotter and wait for an hour and a half. If he'd feel absolutely nothing, he'd take another one. If 1.5 hours later there's still nothing; SWIM would abort and try again next week with 2.5 blotters. The acid will probably have degraded a lot, but SWIM would not be to careless, with dosing.

If kept away from light, heat, oxygen, and moisture -- indefinitely.
