Personally, for SWIM, it's Ayahuasca. he did it down in Costa Rica, which isn't known for brewing it, but while working for the Carribbean Conservation Corp. on the pacific side, he had a rather nasty flu-like illness. he went to the Tortuguero medicinal herb store. the doctor (or so he called himself) brewed up a batch and traveled with swim that night through dreams and places. When swim closed his eyes, he was in different places. Animals talked to him, and the rainforest around him seemed to heave as if breathing. it was in this moment when swim had his very first actual spiritual experience of his life. If you don't mind swim asking, what was SWIY's best spiritual experience while doing drugs. go into as much or as little detail as swiy would like

Budgie knows it may sound a tad strange to some people, but the most spiritual experience he's had was not on a psychedelic, but MDMA.

Mushrooms have been used for spiritual purposes for ages..but I believe it's more of a personal spiritual experience..the higher aspect of one's self, rather than a connection to something outside of the self..if that makes sense?

lol may sound weird but swim has had the most spiritual effect from useing adderall..... swim has done acid, shrooms, salvia, and all that but when he did adderal he talked to god on it..... it changed swims life

SWIF thought he'd find some of the DMT analogs very spiritual like DPT. He was very overwhelmed by the effects and thoroughly enjoyed the experience but he never found it spiritual. For him MDMA still remains the most spiritual experience he ever had.

“Spiritual” is one of those words that means all sorts of different things for different people. For some the word would refer to experiences that feel really good/blissful, or giving a sense of oneness with the universe, or teaching about the nature of reality, or connecting one with a personal god, or connecting one with an impersonal god, or . . .

lsd offered swim a feel good opening connected experience; however, ayahuasca totally terrified him and ultimately (after many months of processing) taught him much about his illusions regarding the nature of reality and self. The word spiritual could be applied to both, but the experiences were almost totally different. Swim is grateful that he took ayahuasca only after having many other relevant life experiences, though for many it has offered a wonderful introductory experience.

The “best” substance will vary depending on where one is at in one’s life.

SWIM took a couple of E's with his friends but they started first and he had to catch up.

When one of his friends comes down off an E, he acts like a kid who's not allowed to play with his toys anymore.

Anyway, this time, when he said a few things, it didn't effect him in any way and he could feel it. I'm assuming he had ego dissolution because not one bit of negativity came into his mind through SWIM's own or from an external source... and let me tell you, it was amazing.

Not one bit of negativity bothered SWIM.

That would be MDMA's extreme empathogenic effects. Ego death is when you lose your entire concept of 'self'.

Swim has the most spiritual experiences on MDMA alone which causes swim to feel at one with his 'God' and a very different yet still equally spiritual experience when mixed with cannabis, the difference being that when mixing the two causes swim to 'lose his mind' and/or 'leave his body'. LSD comes in a close 2nd with swim in regards to spiritual experiences/insights.

SWIM found 2CB and MDMA to be more about the egotistical and not the spiritual.

Swim's mind has become completely seperate from his body after using over 1500mg of adderall in a 86 hour time period.

Here's how the end of that binge went....

Basically, Swim got home from band practice, sat down by his computer, and picked up his guitar. Put the headphones on and started playing....next thing Swim knew the room was pitch black and he was no longer playing. But here's the thing.....he was. Swim's fingers were moving but he was not consciously moving them. He sat in the dark wearing sound isolating headphones and listened to what he thought was just some great music. Instead, it was Swim's soul expressing itself while bypassing the mind. He didn't realize until the next day what had happened the night before....and every time Swim thinks about it he specifically remembers closing his eyes and truly believing he was just listening to some music. Music that Swim enjoyed greatly since his body/fingers were listening to his soul for what to play instead of his mind. Swim did not look at a clock the entire time until he was sort of "awoken" from his trance by sweat pouring down his face, dripping down, Swim was completely covered. He checked the time and it had been 5 hours since he started playing. Swim realized just how much conscious thought really holds musicians back....and if Swim were able to hold a guitar and just PLAY, without thinking about it one bit, his inner self would make some amazing music.

Swim has never had an enlightening experience from Salvia, although he has broken past the barrier several times and had some very intense trips from it. He was simply never left with any sort of deeper knowledge or understanding.

After binging on adderall and being awake for 80 hours, Swim was able to let go of his inhibitions and truly allow his spirit to be free....for the first time in Swim's life. Swim now spends a great amount of time attempting to recreate the freedom of spirit he experienced that night, but Swim would like to do so without substances.

SWIM had an intensely spiritual and self reflective experience on mescaline cacti, and his dreams for the week after were all lucid and informative. SWIM has had a great spiritual experience on DMT, but doesn't know how to integrate it into his life

A friend of swim had what could be called a spiritual experiance with a bzp and salvia combo, it deffinately changed his perspective on life.

He found shrooms to be very, very spiritual in his early days but hasn't done them for a few years as he grew tired of the experience. More recently he found that DXM (in the 3rd plateau) to be very spiritual and offer some profound insights at times.

He would like to try Salvia and DMT but being a monkey, finds it hard to obtain.
