D-Amphetamine
Swim has been taking various forms of stimulants for the past 11 years of his life. He had taken break for 3 months over so often and even stopped completely for a year mostly due to medical insurance problems but learned to live but was very disorganized and had a very hard time waking up in the morning. Swim has also been a heroin addict for the past 5 years of his life and recently transferred addictions to Methadone. SWIM hopes to get off the methadone very soon. But here is his issue. After about a 7 month hiatus from d-Amphetamine he received a prescription for 2x10mg tablets of d-amphetamine. His doctor told him " do not sell these " and he promised he wouldn't. I think the doctor said this because he thought that swim may try selling the pills to buy heroin. But I know Swim would not do this. The issue is that swim started off taking the 2x10mg tablets. But by the 7th day he needed to take at least 4 to even complete his day in maximum efficiency. I'm sure SWIM could manage to ask his doctor for more and just attest how he has been on stimulants most of his life and that his tolerance raised quite fast because before last time he was on Dexedrine he was taking 60mg a day. SWIM is just wondering why his tolerance is getting so high so fast. He isn't even using these to just get high. Swim enjoys the effects but also has a hard time staying awake and functioning w/ out at least 10mg and thats cutting it very very low. The other day Swim didn't take any to try and lower his tolerance but he pretty much ended up sleeping the entire day. Let me know what you think. Does anyone know a good way to keep tolerance low? or any other way besides Calcium carbonate before hand to help absorption? Swim originally went to the doctor to ask for xanax because he was having night terrors and panic attacks and is actually not even taking the xanax except every other night he takes 0.5 mgs if he can't sleep or get's a night terror.
