hey swim was just wondering what colleges in the states are more prominently associated with acid and psychadelics. swim figured philly and new york would be up there but was just wondering on eveyones input

From the rules:

evergreen in washington, probably something in santa cruz, maybe vegas, and i don't know about the east coast.

here in philly there is a big psychadelic scene at temple University....RC's, molly, and alice....its actually a beautiful thing

I don't know how helpful this thread is. Some schools may have a higher rate of drug use, but its so hard to account for anecdotally. Two people could go to the same school and have completely different perspectives on the level of drug use there, depending on what social groups they are involved with.

That said, UCSB (Santa Barbara) has many psychedelics and RCs floating around that are popular with many students, or so swim has heard.

Definitely not in swims experience. Hampshire in Mass and New College in Florida though both have large scenes.

See, its all on who you know there and what groups of people you associate with. These campuses are so large it is easy to have completely different groups of friends who don't have any contact with each other. As for UPenn, there is definitely no lack of psychoactive compounds floating around so far as some people are concerned.

Swim hasn't notices a lack of psychoactive compounds, but psychedelics just don't seem that popular (not to say they don't exist), at least compared to other communities swim has visited (this may be a relative thing as swim knows some serious hippies).

Penn in general seems to be much more into coke and adderall, after all it's a school filled with aspiring investment bankers.

Pitzer has a chill campus, and is a great school. Not too much L around there anymore unless your in tight circles, but tons of bud. Always nice places to blaze etc.

Berkley has been known for having some great L...

University of Colorado in Boulder also has a friendly scene
