Shelf-life of dried Psilocybe Cubensis

Does anyone know how long this is? the search engine didn't show anything, does anyswiy have experience with eating shrooms after a period of time with absolutely no effect? refridgeration should help, would a freezer be too much? and would it be safe to say at least 6 months if dried properly and kept in a dry area?

If packed correctly a freezer would be perfect. They would last a long, long time if frozen.

swim ate these shrooms from last season (or at that that was the excuse) they were fucking black as hell and barely any caps and the caps were all litttle like all smaller than dimes. (well now swim knows the smaller the more potent) but swims bud gave swim a nice golden cap and stemcap and swim tripped pretty hard, also they gave an 1/8 (the black shrooms) to this other kid swim knows and he made tea cause he wanted to make sure he killed anything else that was in there and he said it was alright.

SWIM once ate dried shrooms that had been kept for approximately 6 months at a fairly steady 70 degrees F. There was noticable degradation. 5 grams was equivalent to approximately 2 grams, in his estimation. SWIY probably should try a freezer for storage because room temp doesn't work too great.

SWIM has noticed that cracker dry shrooms will maintain potency very well 1 year+. Anything less than cracker dry will lose potency relatively quickly.

SWIM normally picks them , then dries them in an airing cupboard like the previous poster said until cracker dried...

use them throughout the year.. and dont seem to lose potency... SWIM likes mild trips tho.. lots of giggles in a group!!!

Would chocolate last? Would have thought so.

Well chocolates would most likely go bad before properly stored dried mushrooms in my opinion.Stored with a desiccant in a cool place they'll last a year or two.
