Combinations - A slightly psychedellic side to methadone brought out

Swim took 80 mg's of methadone today which he potentated with four generic tums(yes they work)he followed with with 5 25 mg generic benadryls(diphenhydramine).Then swim went to his friends house and smoked very copious amounts of some quality weed.Swim's thoughts became deep and constant and far from the norm almost as with lsd.Lsd with a warming opiate embrace almost.As the song said.."The world turned day glo!"Swim sees through the lies of the dea and other pigs more clearly than ever.He sees that these are people that can not understand beauty.They are ugly people and will suffer after this life for it.People that destroy the beautiful and the deserving.

Swim is no longer artificial,no longer seeking,this is where it should be.

What're "generic tums"?

I think this experience, however, might of been caused by the sleepy, sedative effects of the Diphenhydramine combining with the quality marijuana. I suppose the Methadone just enhanced this combination.

Tums are a popular antacid.Swim has the generic version,the kind you get in walmart to save some cash.It was a nice night for swim but swim sat out on his porch smoking cigarettes too long and just feels sort of sad about it all.Swim plans on repeating the experience later though so this should be fun.He is going to add a very small dose of xanax(alprazolam)1 mg just to see if this adds some interesting effects.Swim never overdose benzos with opiates.One pill at max!Swim suggests most don't combine them at all.

No, but anyway, I thought the same of heroin. When SWIM used to do it (and actually was still getting high and not just getting well) heroin always gave "hallucinations" especially with his eyes closed. The first time SWIM ever did heroin he saw flies buzzing all around his head and the walls (decorated with christmas lights) grew legs and escorted him to heaven....this type of shit is simply refered to as a "Nod"....more like a dream state but in between waking and sleep. Marijuana helps increase the effect sometimes....early in the junkie phase one experience's very vivid nods. At least SWIM did.

And the mixing of benadryl--am I correct in saying that SWIY only took one pill?--diphenahydramine is just terrrible to get high on....eeewwwwwwwww

At higher doses methadone is a mild NMDA antagonist. Maybe this could help account for SWIYs experience.

Swim is a very regular opiate user and 80 mg's of methadone really isn't much for him.Diphenhydramine can be interesting on it's own but it has a potentating kick to opiates,especially methadone for some reason.

Swim should base this on some sort of evidence or he just might appear to be a victim of the placebo effect

Swim doesn't think this is placebo.He has had this happen MANY times and has been using diphenhydramine for this purpose for a longtime.
