Aphetamine Question

SWIM don't do speed or meth, and SWIM have no experience with prescription pills other than the opioids, so SWIM was hoping some one could tell me the value (for personal consumption not monetary value) of a tiny lil capsule labeled
IC D- Amphetamine 10 mg.

SWIM got four for free, but SWIM dont like putting chemicals into SWIMs body without doing a lil research first, so SWIM wants to know if four of these would get him high, or if SWIM should just dispose of them.

SWIM has never seen a dextroamphetamine capsule in the USA that carries that imprint code. Perhaps it might be an international dextroamphetamine product. Hopefully another member who is in the know on this can confirm its actual identity for you.

However, until they do, if SWIM was SWIY, SWIM would assume that the imprint is refering to 10mg of dextroamphetamine. That being said, it could likely be an extended release version of dextroamphetamine. The only reason SWIM says "likely" is because in the USA, all of the dextroamphetamine products that are of the extended release variety are in a capsule form, while all the immediate release dextroamphetamine products are in tablet form.

Considering that you have no experience with any prescription drugs other than opiods, SWIM would suggest that you consider not taking all 4 together. For starters, none of us ever really know how we will respond to a given drug until we consume it. Sometimes people find out that they might be hyper-sensitive to a certain drug requiring a much smaller dose than normal, while at the same time others learn that they might not be sensitive at all to the same drug unless they take a very large dose.

Be safe, and be smart, and remember again that without any personal experience outside of prescription opiates, SWIY would be very wise to take things slow. Remember also that it's most likely to be an extended release version of dextroamphetamine, and if so, they usually tend to last 4 to 8 hours for most. If it turns out to be an immediate release version, then SWIY might expect it to last up to 4 hours, usually less for SWIM. Be safe, be smart, and just try one all by itself, and don't be surprised if it's stronger than you think it will be. Dextroamphetamine is a very good drug, but it might not be the best thing for some people. SWIM has been taking it dailly for many years under his Dr's supervision, and SWIM learned the hard way that it's best to start of slow with prescription stimulants until you know exactly how you will respond to them.

Could swim side step the time release feature by undoing the capsule? Like taking the time release coating offa an OC?

The label on the bottle said take once daily, so swim is assuming its time release, but swim is just curious if 10 mgs of dextroamphetamine is a decent dose. SWIM knows that 15 to 20 mgs of OC used to do the trick for SWIM, but SWIMs pretty sure thats apples and oranges.

Any additional help would be much appreciated.

SWIM forgot to mention that SWIM is also currently trying to kick a very mild cocaine habit. SWIMs been using coke once or twice a week for about 6 months, so swim is used to uppers, but everyone tells swim amphetamine and coke are pretty different.

SWIM should really gather all his thoughts before posting, but swim is also curious if he might be better off snorting, or ingesting this stuff.

if trying to kick a cocaine habit this can be useful. may be able to taking one upon waking and if it is time release would last 6-8 hours, and since amphetamines primarily work on dopamine as cocaine does, swiy may be able to take one a day for four days and refrain from cocaine altogether. or while weening off the cocaine. but if just experimenting try one alone.. there can be some recreational value, but most people use it to get more stuff done... read dextroamphetamine on wikipedia, it will give swiy lots of information. hope that helps.

If it's a capsule, you'll have to crush up the tiny little beads of amp inside.
Crushing the capsule itself won't make any difference, since the gelatin quickly dissolves in your stomach, anyway.

Swim did 10 mgs and then 10 mgs again about two hours later, by undoing the capsule and smashing the lil amp beads which swim thought were pretty cool. They are kinda tough to crush, but the resiliant user should have the tools for crushing pretty much anything softer than granite.

Swim found that the initial buzz from the first ten mg (snorted) was quite a bit like coke. It wasn't as intense or satisfying (SWIM suspects thats the addiction to coke talking) but it did last quite some time. Once SWIM had a cigar and a few beers the effects of the first dose were barely noticable, so SWIM processed another and snorted. SWIM was pretty wound up till about 2 am, and even after the peak swim still never actually slept last night. SWIM just laid there with his eyes closed and occasionally fell into the first stage of sleep.

SWIM acknowledges some of the benefits this high has over the coke buzz. The two major ones were

1. there was no constant use, so there was no nose pain or congestion.
2. the energy supplied was more constant, and lasted much longer.

SWIM will do the other two capsules after he finishes here. SWIM hopes this will keep swim from using coke this weekend.
