Question lowered toleranced? or worstened side effects?

swim has noticed that over the past few months of random binging he cannot take as much adderall as he first started, without feeling extreme side effects. he usually only binges once a month, for about 2-3 days - taking fairly high doses. swims only conclusion is that his recreational habits have done some organic damage, and his body can no longer tolerate the physical anxiety as it did a few months ago.

swim is a well conditioned athlete, at the age of 20. his health in the gym seems unaffected - hes still able to run the same distance, lift the same weights, etc.

yet while taking 1/2 as much as he did during his first 3 day binge period, his heart palpitations, chest discomfort, and anxiety levels are far, far worse. the first binge period he didnt even notice these side effects.

anyone have any thoughts for swim? has his tolerance lowered? or is he starting to notice the effects of binging on amphetamines? curious to see what kind of responses swim gets for this..

Re: lowered toleranced? or worstened side effects?

Basically amphetamines are not good for people! They also are well-known for casuing anxiety. Perhaps, SWIY would be better finding something else to binge on.

Organic/ physiological damage seems unlikely.

That is common with more and more dosing of any amp. The good feelings subside and the bad ones such as anxiety are more frequent. Even in small amounts. If swiy has a lot of discomfort I agree with the above poster, leave amps alone and do something else less harmful.
