West Indian Girl
They're really obscure, so I don't know if anyone has heard of them, but West Indian Girl is an amazingly trippy band. I was given their debut album as a present and haven't been able to put it out of my rotation. I'm usually not that open to new music and am overly-comfortable with my classic rock, but this stuff is so beautifully trippy that it was hard to resist.
Apparently, according to their Wikipedia page, they take their name from a type of LSD popular in the 60's. So that's righteous too. Here's a youtube link to one of their songs: http://youtube.com/watch?v=cl4_XNa7JKI Last edited by ~lostgurl~; 15-08-2007 at 04:11. Reason: prefix |
